~ Kellins POV ~

I watch the people carefully as they walk on the pathway opposite me, the pathway itself surrounds the park in the centre of the little village Im currently in. I originally planned to sit right on the corner, considering that's where we first met, but too many people confuse me for a homeless person as it is. Not that I really blame them, I mean, Im sat on outside a coffee shop, inside a sleeping bag, wearing a beanie, a hoodie, skinny jeans and fingerless gloves. Everyday I get at least five people trying to give me money, because they think Im homeless, and everyday I explain to them why Im really here, why Im unable to leave this exact spot. At first, I was reported for sitting here, and I do occasionally get a police officer come up to me and ask why Im sat here, but, after my first month here, I sort of became part of the village. The lady that owns the coffee shop that Im sat in front of is one of the kindest women I've ever met, she's a little old lady, not much taller than 5ft, and every morning she brings me a hot cup of coffee, every night she brings me a steaming cup of hot chocolate. In between her drink visits, she also gives me sandwiches that she makes herself, and sometimes cakes. I cant thank her enough. Without her, I would've starved long ago. I've been sat here for exactly three months today. Constantly watching, forever waiting, never leaving. All for Her. My everything.
"Excuse me sir, you cant stay here." An officer says as he makes his way over to me.
I shake my head "I have to, I have no choice, Im waiting for someone."
The police officer raises an eyebrow "Who?"
I quickly pull the picture of Her out from underneath my hoodie, where she usually stays, pressed against my heart, unless Im showing her to strangers and asking them if they've seen her "This girl, have you seen her?"
"Cant say that I have, sorry." The officer responds.
I nod sadly "Thats ok. If you do see her, can you tell her Im waiting here for her? Please?"
"You have my word." The police officer nods at me, before he leaves.
It's a lot colder here than it was when I first sat down here. I sometimes get fans running up to me and asking for pictures, I always take pictures with them of course, but I always ask them to add a certain hashtag to the caption of the picture when they post it. Im hoping that, if I can get the hashtag trending, She'll see it. The girl I lost. My world. The whole reason Im sat here. I miss her so fucking much.

It snowed last night, I barely slept at all, I was so cold. Im still cold. So cold. But, I wont move, I cant, today could be the day she comes back here, and maybe, just by pure coincidence, she'll walk into the coffee shop Im sat in front of. I have to stay. I cant risk leaving here. Last night, the coffee shop owner came out and sat beside me, she told me that she was going to stay with her daughter for a week or so, and that she hoped to god I would find my girl, she promised to pray for me every night that she would be gone. That means that today, I wont eat. Tomorrow, I wont eat. And I will continue not to eat or drink until I find my babygirl, or until the coffee shop owner comes back, or until I starve to death. Im determined to stay.

Im holding the picture of her delicately in my hands, tracing the perfect lines of her face with my fingers. Im smiling, but there are tears in my eyes, sad tears. I wish she was here, so that I could see her smile in person.
"Hello mister!" I hear a little voice chirp from in front of me, I look up from the picture and see a tiny girl, no older than 6 or 7, smiling at me.
"Hi!" I greet her politely, grinning back at her.
"Why are you sitting here?" The little girl asks me curiously.
"Im waiting for someone." I answer.
The little girl looks confused "How long have you been waiting?"
"Three months now." I reply, I've been counting the days as they go.
"That's forever! Why are you still waiting for anyone that is making you wait so long!?!" I love the innocence and curiosity of children, the innocence and curiosity that is lost when everyone reaches a certain age.
I smile slightly "Because she means the world to me, and I would wait forever for her."
The little girl giggles "Oooh! A laaady! Is she pretty?"
I nod frantically "God, she's gorgeous! Look, I've got a picture of her here." I show the girl the picture I have of my everything.
The little girl studies it, before grinning and nodding excitedly "She is very beautiful! I think I saw her in that big scary loud store earlier."
My eyes widen "What!?! What store!?! When!?!"
"Y'know...uh...the scary one with all the loud music people?" She tries to explain, she's forgotten the name.
"Hot Topic?" I guess.
Her eyes light up "YEAH! THAT ONE! I saw her there, she was looking at a shirt with a mans face on it...and she was crying! Yeah, she was crying!" The little girl recollects.
I raise an eyebrow "What did the man on the shirt look like?"
"He...he had long hair and tattoos...he was holding a microphone, the shirt was red and he was on a stage in front of lots of people. He had lots of hair though, dark hair." Her eyebrows furrow in thought.

I take off my beanie "Long like mine?"
She starts jumping up and down "IT WAS YOU! YOU WERE ON THE SHIRT! Wait...why is your face on a shirt?"
I laugh slightly "Im in a band." Then it hits me "Did you say she was looking at my face on a shirt, and she was crying!?!"
The little girl nods "Yeah! She looked very, very sad. I dont know why."
"If you see her again, PLEASE tell her Im here!" I beg desperately.
"I will! Whats your name mister?" The adorable little girl asks.
"Kellin, Kellin Quinn." I answer quickly.
"Ok, I'll tell her you're here!" The little girl beams.
"Thank you so much!" Im suddenly beyond excited, I could actually find her again, after all this time!
"How did you lose her? What happened?" She asks curiously.
I sniffle "I made mistakes, I did something stupid, I took her for granted and kept leaving her behind..."
The little girl nods knowingly "You forgot to cherish her. My mom has met a lot of guys like that, meanies! But, you are not mean, you're very nice, I like you, and Im sure you'll find her again! You will have to say sorry when you see her."
I nod "Its all I want to do, to say sorry, I just want her to forgive me, I love her so much. Thank you, by the way, I like you, and you're very nice too."
"DARIA!?! OH, THERE YOU ARE! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING RUNNING AWAY FROM ME LIKE THAT!?!" The little girls mother, I assume, calls as she runs over to us.
"I was just talking to this very nice man!" The little girl explains innocently.
Her mother grabs her hand and turns to me "Im so sorry, was my daughter bothering you?"
I shake my head "No, not at all, she's actually been a big help! Thank you, Daria." I smile at the little girl.
"Oh, well, thats good then, Im glad she wasnt causing problems for anyone." Her mother laughs slightly "C'mon Daria, we've gotta go now."
"Ok!" Daria, the little girl, nods and smiles as she walks away from me, holding her mothers hand. She turns to look at me over her shoulder "GOODBYE KELLIN KELLIN QUINN!" I laugh, she thinks my name is Kellin twice because of how I said it. She's fucking adorable. Now, all thats left for me to do is to sit and wait, as I have done for the past three months.

I continue to watch the people on the opposite side of the street. It's been an hour since Daria left, and so far, I havent seen my baby. Im about to pull the picture out to look at it again, when someone catches my eye. I see her hair blowing in the wind as she crosses the street ahead of me, over to the side of the street that leads to the local pizza place. I watch her with wide eyes as she stands outside the fast food place, scanning the menu on the wall carefully before spotting what she wants and smiling. I want to call out to her, but I cant find my voice. I jump up, but instantly fall over, face first into the snow. I lift myself up and just see her run into the pizza place.
I cry out "NO!" Before falling back into the snow, curling into my sleeping bag and sobbing hysterically. That pizza place has an exit on the other side of it, which leads you to the other side of the village, meaning that was my only chance at seeing my world again, my only chance at ever trying to get her back, and I lost it.
