Lord, I want to know You.
I want to have You here with me.
I want to love and please You.
As I am on my knees.
My God, You are a person.
An all knowing and perfect one,
Not human, but a person.
As well as the One.
You are not really a "God".
It is just the name we gave You, in a way;
It is the word we came up with, "God",
For Your Hebrew name, Yahweh.
You are not a cosmic riddle,
You are not a "superior force".
We are two: One perfect one sinful, a cross in the middle,
A bridge to reach You of course.
Lord, I want to know You.
I want to have You here with me.
I want to love and please You.
As I am on my knees.
What do You like?
What do You love?
What do You dislike?
You're not hidden far above.
What do You want to see?
What do You love to hear?
That would You like to become of me?
But what do I do that creates Your tears?
What do You like to do?
What can me talk of?
Us, just me and You.
Let's spend time together, my Love.
