He flushed when he realized that she was blankly staring at him, worried that she was interpreting his actions to be of something else. "I won't do anything to you, I promise!"

Strangely, she felt her cheeks turn warm and she took him up on his offer.

After taking a shower and changing into one of his shirts and pants, Touka settled down on the floor awkwardly and a steaming cup of coffee was placed on the table in front of her.

She looked up at the smiling male. "I hope you like coffee." He said before sitting down beside her.

She grinned at him and took a sip. "I'm fine with it."

He introduced himself as Kaneki Ken. They had a small chat and Touka learned much about the male and before they knew it, they had spent the whole afternoon on cups of coffee and an idle chat. The rain finally let up and it was time for Touka to leave.

Before leaving, they exchanged phone numbers. She knew she shouldn't be doing this and get too close to him but there was just something about him that she was very curious to know about.

Over the next few weeks, they spent more and more time talking and going out together.
