Chapter 76: Oh Mom

2 Weeks Later:

Top woke up and looked around the room strangely since he got used to waking up in his bedroom in the Chaos Building. This time he woke up in a motel room.

I can't believe this, but I miss those idiots. It's kinda boring without them.

-He thought to himself and the gr up from the bed. He glanced at his phone expecting a call or a message from CL, but there was nothing. Top sighed and then wanted to unlock his phone. He froze when he saw the date.

January 15th... Today is the anniversary of my mom's death.

He didn't realize that he grabbed his phone and dialed CL's number:

"I know you don't want to talk to me... I just... I need you... please." -He said in sobs

Since he got no response, he sent another voice message

"I know you can hear me, Chaerin. I'm not kidding. Please. Just be here with me. Don't let this day be a reminded that I don't have anyone by my side..."

-He hardly spokecas he sent the voice message. Then, he started crying uncontrolably

Oh, Mom... I'd give anything to see you. Just for a second. I wish I could hug you or hear your voice... I miss you so much, Mom.

He went to the bathroom to wash his face and then got dressed. He took a cab to a flower store and bought a small boquet since he couldn't afford a bigger one. He then took a cab to the cemetery. He could hardly walk as he approached his mother's grave. He sat next to it. He looked at the grave and realized that there were no flowers left for her

"And then that monster says he cares about you and me... He couldn't even put a stupid flower on your grave..." -Top said in anger.

"How could this happen to me
But even worse, how could this happen to you..."

-Top said as tears started streaming down his cheecks. He held the thick grey stone on which his mother's name was carved in. He sang, while still crying. His deep and powerful voice sounded so weak.

He started crying uncontrolably again, but then he felt someone's arms wrapped around him. He stopped crying as he looked behind him only to see CL's head resting on his shoulder which made him cry even more. They stood up and he hugged her tightly as he cried on her shoulder. CL cried too, but she cleared her voice:

"You're not alone, Tabi. You'll always have me. No matter what..."

"Then please don't leave. Please, Chaerin. I know I said that I won't stop you from your dream, but I need you." -He said in sobs and CL tried not to cry
