Chapter 52: Win Her Back

I miss her... I miss her so much.

Daesung thought to himself as he saw Minzy with the rest of the top students joking around and smiling. He kept his distance from them. He felt like he couldn't be too close to her without saying something that would make the situation awkward.

She has forgiven me, but she's pretending like we don't know eachother. I wish he was still angry at me. At least then she'd think about me. In a negative way, but... at least she'd care in a way.

He noticed Top glancing at him every now and Top started walking slower so he'd catch up with Daesung.

"Yo, Weakling. What's up with you lately?" -Top asked even though he knew Minzy was the reason he was acting this way

"Just tired from the practices and all..."

"Yeah, sure. But when do you plan to man up and speak to her?" -Top asked him and Daesung seemed irritated by his words. He sighed angirly and started walking away from him

"Hold on." -Top said as he grabbed his shirt

"You don't have to be such a drama queen... But really, when do you plan to talk to her?" -Top asked and Daesung realized that he geniuenly cared

"I did. And she 'forgave' me..." -Daesung said as he did the bunny ears

"...But she won't speak to me. She wouldn't even look at me." -He said and Top rolled his eyes.

"You were the one that asked me what's bothering me. Why are you pretending to be annoyed?"

"Because you're stupid."

"I don't need this crap." -Daesung said as he started walking away. Top grabbed his shirt again, but Daesung pushed him away angirly. Top looked surprised

"Stop it! I don't need you or anyone else toying around with me. Do you have any idea what I went through? Not just recently, but my entire pathetic life! So just... just back off!" -Daesung yelled at him and Top just stared. A smirk formed on Top's face

"What are you---?"

"How did it feel?" -Top asked and Daesung was confused by his question

"How did what feel?"

"Standing up for yourself once."

-Daesung thought about Top's words for a second.

He's right. I never raised my voice to anyone other than... other than Minzy... But this really was the first time I fought for myself.

He smiled proudly

"You didn't anwser me." -Top said while smirking

"It felt good. Scary... but good."

"When you get used to it, it won't be scary anymore." -Top said to him as Daesung smiled and nodded

"Let's go grab some lunch, Macho Man." -Top joked as he playfully pushed him and Daesung smiled

He's the strangest person I have ever met, but he seems like a true friend.

They went to the restoraunt and saw GD sitting alone. He seemed lost in his own world

I guess it wouldn't be a bad thing to ask him to join us...

"Hey, GD! Come sit with us!" -Daesung yelled and GD turned around and smiled. He got up and sat with them

"Why are you alone?" -Top asked
