Chapter 51: Fire

"Ladies, I want you to make a song togheter. If you already have a couple written, I want all 4 of you try and perform it." -The President spoke to the girls

"What kind of song should it be?" -Minzy asked

"Well, it's up to you 4 to figure out what your style will be. However, I suggest you try and write something different from most of the other girl groups if you truly want to stand out. My advice is: Be yourselves." -The President said with a smile as the girls nodded

"I will leave you to it. Good luck." -The president said as he waved to them and they waved back and thanked him.

"Sooo... you guys have any songs?" -Dara asked

"Well, I have this one song that I never finished. It's called Fire."

"Ooo, sounds interesting." -Bom said and Dara nodded

"Here it is." -Minzy said as she handed them the lyrics of the song. Only a verse and the chorus were written

"You have the melody of it?" -CL asked and Minzy sang the chorus

"I really like it!" -Dara said with a smile

"Same here!" Bom agreed

"Yeah! I think we can really make something out of it. It's really cool and unique." -CL said

"Thank you, guys. Really." -Minzy said with a smile

"I think it would be better if we go to the studio right away. We don't have to record anything, but we can see if Teddy could give the song a beat. It's always easier to write the lyrics when you already have the music." -CL said and the girls nodded. They dressed comfortably and went to Teddy's studio. They told him what kind of melody it was and he tried a few samples, until he suddenly stoped.

"There it is. I think I finally found it." -He said and played them an instrumental. They started jamming out to it.

"Teddy, can you play that again?" -CL asked an he nodded. He pressed play again. She started freestyling

Dara and Bom quickly looked at Minzy's paper and started fitting the lyrics with the music, but they struggled with it. Then, Minzy took over and started singing "Eh, Eh, Eh, Eh, Eh" which wasn't written on her paper.

"2NE1!" -Dara sang during Minzy's pause. Minzy smiled at her and the Bom and her continued singing "Eh, Eh, Eh, Eh, Eh, Eh" again

"You better ring the alarm!" -CL said. Minzy and Bom again sang their part

"We're 2NE1!" -Dara sang proudly. Minzy and Bom again sang the "Eh" part, expecting another line from either CL or Dara, but the beat quickly changed and CL started freestyling again

Then Minzy sang the verse she wrote on the paper:
