Chapter 68: I Am The Best

CL and Top ran backstage to join the girls. Bom and Top stared at each other, but Top quickly looked away

"You guys ready?" -CL asked and they nodded

"Come on. Let's show them who's the best." -CL said with a smile and the girls smiled too. CL noticed that Minzy seemed annoyed by Top being with them

"Uh, Minz... Is everything okay?" -CL asked and Top glanced at Minzy and rolled his eyes

"I know what's wrong. I'm going. Good luck to you all." -He said to the girls and they nodded. He hugged CL and then left.

What was that all about? What happened with Top and Minzy?

"Aaaand we're back, ladies and gentlemen! Now, performing for the first time, please welcome: 2NE1!" -The announcer said and the girls' heart started beating quicker. They looked at eachother and smiled

"Let's do this." -CL said and they walked out on stage.

GD walked with the other guys to their seats in the VIP lounge which was above the audience. They sat and felt nervous since they knew that Bom, Minzy, CL and Dara were about to perform

"It'll be hard to top WG's performance, but I think the girls can do it." -Daesung said and the guys nodded in agreement. The host announced 2NE1 and the crowd just clapped

The Wonder Girls already have large fan bases. I could even hear fanchants during their performance. Hopefully, the girls won't be scared by that... -GD thought to himself as the lights went on, revealing a complitely different set up then the one there was during the Wonder Girls' performance. It was set up as a club. A DJ, a couple people dancing in the back and then the music started and CL's voice echoed through the arena:

Then the girls started dancing while CL was still singing. Everyone was amazed.

Oh my God.

Bom stood in front as she sang:

Set to hit the city 'cause tonight this is my night, alright.
I don't need permission, I just do anything I like, alright.

Wow! Is that really my sister? She is amazing!

Afterwards, Dara sang as the backup dancers danced around her:

CL started singing, this time the backup dancers were surrounding her

I'm hot hot hot hot fire.
I'm dangerous and loving it.

Wow... I haven't seen her so happy in so long. Nothing makes her happier than performing.

Minzy started singing as she showed off her amazing dance moves:

I'm out to show them what it's all about.
I'm not coming back.
I'm gonna step out with a smile.
It's just the way that I roll.
I don't care.
