Chapter 53: New Student

Taeyang sat on the grass of the university park where most student were studying. He just wanted to get away from everyone since Dara's words played out in his head over a thousand times.

H-How could she? How could se mean all those thing?

"You idiot! How dare you kiss me again! Ugh! I HATE YOU!"

-Those words echoed in his head an it still hurt him now just as it did when she said it him a few weeks ago

Why do I care about what she said? She's nothing. She's just another girl. She doesn't matter to me. At all.

He tried convincing himself, but he knew very well how much he cared about her

Ugh! What is wrong with me?! Of all the girls I have to fall for that witch!

Just then, he saw Officer Tablo walking near the park

It's him. He's the guy who was accused of killing my brother. But...but I think he didn't do it. My brother never spoke of him in a negative way. It just doesn't make sence.

Then, Prof. Gummy walked in Tablo's direction and Tablo began panicking

Tablo hid behind a tree, waiting for Gummy to walk away. When she did, he played it off cool

Is he a child or something? Why is he scared of her?

Tablo quickly walked away and Taeyang noticed that he went back to his offfice. Taeyang stayed in the park for another hour and then he realized that the other student were going back to their dorms

It's getting dark. I should be heading back to the Chaos Building. But... I should first talk to the Tablo guy

Taeyang then walked to Tablo's office. He wanted to walk inside, but two officers went out so Taeyang hid behind a tree

Oh, the irony...

"He's really losing it." -One officer said

"Yeah. Ever since she came back, he hasn't been the same?" -The other said

Who hasn't been the same? Tablo? Is it because of Gummy?

Taeyang peaked through the office window and saw Tablo holding a bottle as he heard him yell:

"YOU LEFT ME PARALYZED!"

God, he's drunk.

Taeyang walked in the office.

"Tablo?" -He called

"Hey, it's officer Tablo for... Oh, fuck it." -Tablo said and then he turned around on his chair

"Hey. It's you, Sean. Cool mohawk, man" -Tablo said and Taeyang froze

"N-No... I'm his brother - Taeyang."

"Oh. You look hust like your brother." Tablo said

"Yeah, I get that a lot. Anyways, I need to ask you something."

This might be my only chance to get the truth out of him.

"What is it?" -Tablo asked as his eyes were half open

"Who killed my brother? Was it you?" -Taeyang asked as he kept in his tears

"No."

"Then who was it?"

"It was Sean."

What? This guy is completily out of it!

"How dare you say that about my brother, you filth!" -Taeyang said and grabbed Tablo by his collar holding his fist in front of Tablo's face
