Chapter 71: That XX

The morning after the New Years celebration, the students woke up very late. As usual, they went to the university restoraunt and all sat together. They noticed that most of the other students from the university already left to go on vacation or to visit their families. However, the top 10 students all decided to stay one more day.

I need to speak to Dara. I can't help it but notice that she doesn't seem very happy in our relationship. We love being with each other, but it's just not what I thought it would be. Lately it seems more like she's trying to make Taeyang jealous then to actually be with me... -GD thought to himself as he and the others were eating their late breakfast. He barely touched his food, but he still sat there waiting for Dara to finish so they could talk alone. When she finally did, he gently took her hand and smiled at her

"Want to take a walk?" -He asked and she nodded. They left the restoraunt and walked towards the fountain.

"Last night was beautiful, wasn't it?" -She said

"Uh... I don't remember much, but from what I do... yeah. It was beautiful." -He said and she laughed

"You and Top drank so much. Before we all went home, you two were hugging and singing to each other." -Dara said

"What? No way! I couldn't have been that drunk." -GD said and Dara nodded

Shit... I seriously should have been more cautious. God knows what else I did.

"Oh, and Top went to the old house and climbed upstairs. He oppened the window and started singing: 'High High, I'm so High!'." -She said as they both laughed. When they stopped, a silence occured

Do we seriously have nothing to talk about? Before this whole relationship thing, we could talk to each other about everything! I felt so comfortable around her. And now... I just want to get this over with.

"Hey, uh... Dara." -He said as he stopped walking and they faced each other

"I need to ask you something..." -GD said

"Sure!" -She said with a smile

Oh man... I seriously don't want to hurt her

"Do you... Do you still care about Taeyang?" -GD asked and her smile quickly faded. She looked away from GD and then stared at the ground. She took a deep breath.

"I do." -She said and GD felt like he was stabbed.

No...

"I told you when we first met that I was a very honest person... so there. There's the truth. Now it's your turn." -She said and GD was confused

My turn? What is she talking about?

"Do you love CL?"

"Yes... but not in that way. I love her as a friend. That's it." -He said and Dara chuckled

"Then you're either lying to me or you're lying to yourself, GD." -She said

"How can you say that? I want to be with you, but you love that piece of shit that cheated on you!" -He said and Dara stared at him in disbelief. An angry look formed on her face and then she suddenly slapped him.

What the hell?!

GD looked at her in disbelief and she gasped

"GD... I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to--"

"It's okay. It's actually pretty great because you just told me how you truly feel about me. Hopefully he won't cheat on you too much..." -GD said bitterly as he turned around and started walking away. Dara grabbed his hand but he just pushed it away
