I tell myself you don't mean a thing, and what we got, got no hold on me but when your not there I just crumble

I furiously try to tell myself as I sit on the bed with my head in my hands. I can't like him, I mean sure when he isn't around I feel incomplete and when ever he is here he makes my heart beat faster and my knees grow weak but I can't love him.

I look up before standing and looking in the mirror.

I turn as I hear foot steps and I'm greeted with Scott, a shy smile set on his lips. He crosses the room in three long strides and his hands glide over my arms leaving goosebumps.
