074. DREAMS DON'T DIE

Start from the beginning

Caroline then saw one of the guys with an acoustic guitar "can I?" she asked, as he took it off from around him, she grabbed it and began smashing it on the floor, as she screamed, the other one's turned running out of the room with their guitars, the drummer followed after them along with the violin players, as Caroline then threw down the guitar and noticed the guy at the piano "oh, hey! Look at that! Ha ha! Not gonna need this anymore!" she voiced, walking up to him and moving the piano bench he was sitting on back, as she then put her hands on the piano and tipped it over.

She then turned and saw Sam and Britney staring at her in shock "oh, don't stop on my account! I mean clearly, you were looking at her the same way you used to look at me, so.." Caroline shared, turning and walking out of the classroom.

The next day, Caroline walked into school the next day with red highlights in her hair, wearing a black long sleeve shirt and a skirt, everyone looked at her and when they did, they snapped a picture of her, and when they did she rolled her eyes and began walking down the halls and as she did, she started singing.

"I'm so insecure, I think

That I'll die before I drink
And I'm so caught up in the news
Of who likes me, and who hates you
And I'm so tired that I might
Quit my job, start a new life
And they'd all be so disappointed
'Cause who am I, if not exploited?"

She then turned down the hallway, spinning around she began walking backwards.

"And I'm so sick of 17
Where's my fucking teenage dream?
If someone tells me one more time
"Enjoy your youth, " I'm gonna cry
And I don't stick up for myself
I'm anxious and nothing can help
And I wish I'd done this before
And I wish people liked me more."

She then walked into her first class of the day and sat down, putting her elbow on the desk, the teacher had started her lesson, but Caroline could honestly care less.

"All I did was try my best
This the kind of thanks I get?
Unrelentlessly upset (ah, ah, ah)
They say these are the golden years
But I wish I could disappear
Ego crush is so severe
God, it's brutal out here."

The bell then rang as she stood up and walked out of there

"(Yeah!)"

Leaning against her locker now, she saw some of the glee kid's standing together at the end of hallway all dressed in different club uniforms.

"I feel like no one wants me
And I hate the way I'm perceived
I only have two real friends
And lately, I'm a nervous wreck
'Cause I love people I don't like
And I hate every song I write
And I'm not cool and I'm not smart
And I can't even parallel park."

Pushing herself off the locker, she then began walking down the hallway again.

"All I did was try my best
This the kind of thanks I get?
Unrelentlessly upset (ah, ah, ah)
They say these are the golden years
But I wish I could disappear
Ego crush is so severe
God, it's brutal out here."

She then pushed a kid into a locker, causing their books to fall out of their hands as she then continued down the hallway like she did nothing wrong.

"(Yeah! Just having a really good time)
Got a broken ego, broken heart (it's brutal out here, it's brutal out here)
And God, I don't even know where to start."
