Hunter's POV

"Oh my god," I rolled my eyes at the pair who'd only just emerged from the changing rooms, "What took you so long? Everyone else left half an hour ago!"

Lia and Leah just grinned, suspiciously happy.

"Sorry," Leah held her hands up in defense, "The shower wouldn't work properly."

"And then the hair dryer," Wally added.

"Mhm," Leah and Wally looked to each other, giving a strange amount of attitude.

"Well can we go home now?" I groaned, "Nana basically shoved me out of the house this morning so I'm starving."

Leah laughed, "That's cause you woke up late."

I rolled my eyes, "Shut up and please drive us home."

Wally was staying for dinner tonight because her car was broken, so Leah was carpooling the pair of us, not very graciously though.

I stood up, not needing my crutches anymore because I was a couple weeks into my rehab, I was ahead of schedule and making fantastic progress.

We climbed into the car, Leah sitting in the front then Wally and I in the back, just to annoy Leah that little bit more. I think she felt like the overworked mother of two terrible twins.

"Where'd you go at lunch today?" Leah asked, looking in the mirror to see us.

I shrugged, "Me and Jill ate lunch outside."

"Hm," Leah nodded, giving me a devilish grin.

No one knew Jill and I were officially going out, but most people had caught on long ago to the fact that something way going on. I'm not sure why we hadn't told Leah and Wally but there was an element of fun sneaking around and keeping everything so private; though I'm not sure we were doing a successful job looking at the two smug smiles in the car.

"Shut up," I rolled my eyes, "What were you two doing at lunch?"

Wally's smile grew even wider now, as she lightly laughed, "We were watching Katie chase Jen and Kim round with a water gun."

"Can't believe I missed that fun," I replied sarcastically.

"It was quite entertaining actually," Leah backed up Wally, "That was until Katie started shooting in our direction."

I just shook my head, chuckling.

The Arsenal girls had definitely been making an effort and I wasn't trying to make life awkward, so I'd move on, though never with the same trust and adoration I used to. I used to blindly follow those girls wherever, all of them being like my older sisters, though I now knew that there's only one older sister I could trust; my actual older sister, Alexia.

Eventually we pulled up back at the house, I sighed as I dragged my kit out of the bag then turning to see Leah and Wally waiting for me.

"You guys can go in without me," I told them, weirded out by the both of them today.

"You go," Leah pushed me towards the door.

I looked back at them, my eyes darting between their faces, "What's behind the door?"

"Nothing," Wally answered, replying a little too quickly.

I looked to Leah who just shrugged.

Huffing, I knew something was going on but I didn't have the patience to wait forever and question the two girls who clearly weren't about to let anything slip, so I opened the door and stepped foot into the hall.
