Hope POV

I just finished lunch and set it down on the counter. Next thing I know someone grabs me pulling me against them. I laughed knowing exactly who it is, I turned to him kissing him softly on the lips.

Jacob: happy 20th Anniversary.
He said kissing me

Hope: God I'm so old but somehow you make me feel young. I said hugging him

Jacob: your still as beautiful as you were when you were young. He said pulling away

I giggled pecking his lips.

Jacob: Nick is turning 18 today.
He sighed

Hope; oh I know. I can't let him go still. I sighed

Jacob: I know. But sometimes you have too. He can't live off us. He needs to go out and live life. He said moving my hair

I nodded before I hugged him again.

Nick: mom dad

Me and Jacob turned around seeing Nick with a suitcases.

Nick: mom dad I know I'm only turning 18 but. I found a house. I have a girlfriend. I have a life. I'll move out tomorrow. He said slowly walking towards us

Hope: of course Nick. Your 18 we can't say no anymore. All we can do is give you advise. I shrugged

Jacob: and Nick. If your ever struggling you can come live with us if you want. He said moving his hand on my shoulder

Nick: ya I know
He nodded

I walked up to him hugging him tightly. Jacob joined the group hug which made it feel more like home.

Nick: but mom dad
He said pulling away

H&J: yes

Nick: I wanna hear the story about how you and dad met. He said with a smile growing

Hope: oh my god I thought you'd never ask. Come sit. I said walking to the living room

We sat down on the couch getting comfortable.

Hope: do you wanna start or I should.
I said turning to Jacob

He shrugged

I smiled turning back to Nick.
