Too Late

Every other student was having fun at their provisional license lessons except Kentarou as Wendy as they laid against the wall exhausted. The number of patients they had to take care of was just too much even for Kentarou, especially since he recently pulled multiple all nighters for his debut album. He now knew the pain of being an idol. Thankfully, he had it quite easy since he could at least change his appearance somewhat. While Wendy was suffering from multiple all nighters practicing her technique and knowledge on the medical field.

"Ken-nii, I envy those ignorant students who have it easy by just practicing and pushing their quirks to the limit" Wendy just gave a hurtful comment to many who nearly experienced death due to training their quirks but given that her training consists of doing the same then pulling all nighters studying, applying the knowledge she learned, and observing then revising prescriptions to patients. Hell training would look meek.

"Let them be, besides the same could be said to me" Kentarou said, but Wendy replied with a 'really...' expression.

"Ken-nii really tends to underestimate his hard work, just like what Ayako-nee said" Wendy couldn't help but comment since she herself knows that her training and schedule looks easy compared to what he is always doing. Besides doing hero work and studying, he also has his idol persona to take care of as well as learn and collect different organisms as well as create all sorts of chimeras that won't hinder each other's traits.

Kentarou didn't say anything and just continued to rest. He is too tired to even think. However, as he closed his eyes to rest, every single part of his body tensed up as if to say that it wasn't the time to rest and that he should do something important.

However, just as he was about to stand up, an incredibly strong headache suddenly hit him and caused him to fall unconscious, shocking Wendy.

"Ken-nii!!!" Wendy shouted as she checked his vitals. Once she knew that there was nothing wrong with him, she brushed off the occurrence as him overexerting himself too much to the point of collapse, which wouldn't be all that surprising after all he has been through just this year.

Kentarou opened his eyes only to find himself in a meadow while being surrounded by trees and grass. All looked normal at first until he saw the sky that is made up of purple, red, and black swirls while seemingly having white cracks are ever present on it.

The trees looked weird to the point that his quirk activated. In fact, his quirk suddenly flared up and forcibly changed his feet into roots that suddenly dug into the ground and enveloped the whole world or, more specifically, a plane of existence.

"AHHHH!!!!" Kentarou howled in pain due to the sheer amount of genetic information that suddenly got transfered to him. Thankfully, none of the new additions have their own conciousness, they are more or less can be called puppets.

"Big Brother, are you okay?" A little girl around the age of 8 years old wearing a classic fantasy villager npc's dress but with a red hood, she has long blonde hair that is tied into low twintails, and lastly ruby red eyes.

The little girl touched Kentarou to check whether the strange big brother she just coincidentally met is okay. However, thanks to that, Kentarou's quirk once again activated.

Abilities gained: Having the peak possible power, an 8 years old little girl could have, two possible abilities that can be awakened, but only one can be chosen. Unknown, unknown, unknown.
