This is quite a compelling diary turned into a novel, since it tells the thoughts and events of a girl of Jewish origin during the Second World War, along with her own family and what they are forced to live during that time, even go into hiding so the Gestapo doesn't catch them.

Ana Frank and her family are forced to go to the Netherlands from their native Germany, where a family receives them and hides them in their own house. From then on, the main protagonist starts writing in her diary about what happens daily and her own convictions about life and morality, how life should be like.
