Star Wars 3: Revenge of the Sith

This is a summary and review of the final prequel in the Star Wars franchise, that was released in may 2005.

In the final movie of the prequel trilogy, Anakin Skywalker finally goes to the dark side, with the deeds of Senator Palpatie, who in secret is Darth Sidious, and the one who has plotted everything up until now, including the fall of the Jedis. Anakin has recurring dreams where his wife, Senator Padme, dies during childbirth, so he tells Palpatine about this and the second one tells him that he can teach him a special technique so that Anakin can save Padme from death. The Chosen One agrees, but Palpatine deceives him, and turns him into the sith Darth Vader, while making him annihilate all the Jedis in the Jedi temple, including the younglings. Meanwhile, Obi-Wan is in a mission in another planet, where he finishes an enemy, and finally the war ends. Obi-Wan and Darth Vader confront each other in a fateful duel in Mustafar, after the first one realizes that Anakin was the one who killed all the Jedis. Obi-Wan wins the duel and leaves the planet, while Vader is left to burn, but Palpatne arrives and rescues him. Vader is transformed with his new, trademark suit, and finally seals his fate, transforming into the powerful Darth Vader. Padme and Obi-Wan, along with Yoda and Senator Bail Organa, arrive on a moon, where Padme has her children, Luke and Leia, but she dies in the end, with nothing left to do to save her somehow. The few reamining Jedi are alerted to save themselves from the recently established Empire, while the Padme's children are adopted and taken to their families.

I think it's a really nice ending to the prequel story of Star Wars, with a very good explanation of the backstory and what we already know. The film is tragic in a lot of scenes, but it has really good acting, action sequences and lightsaber duels. I recommend this film to all Star Wars fans, since it is really nice to watch and it explains a lot of things.
