This is a summary and review of one of the novels from the Goosebumps series, that was released in the decade of the 90's.

Two kids go with their uncle to the sea to research the ocean, since their uncle is a scientist and explorer. When the two kids go into the sea for a swim, the boy encounters a marine creature, but this one goes away. He then tells the other two what he saw. Later on in the story, they find a mermaid and capture it, but let it go afterwards, where the uncle's helper and other two men try to capture the mermaind and the other passengers. But a group of mermaids appear to help them out. The kids and uncle are free and well. Another day goes by, and the boy goes into the ocean, and encounters the sea monster once again.

I think it's an entertaining and fun book to read, like all the author's books, since there is always the expectancy of something scary that is going to happen next. Recommended for young readers who like this type of genre.

Dos niños van con su tío al mar para investigar el océano, ya que su tío es científico y explorador. Cuando los dos niños van al mar a nadar, el niño se encuentra con una criatura marina, pero esta se va. Luego les cuenta a los otros dos lo que vio.
