Chapter 1 - A scary memory. - Page 7.

Sans says this to frisk while feeling concerned. "hey kid, everything alright?...you look stressed."

Frisk looks at Sans with a frightened expression. "Sans, i do not think my mom was dreaming that encounter she had..."

Sans replies while feeling uneasy. "oh?...why do you think that? you heard your mom, she dreamed that she met another skeleton. there is nobody else but me and-"

Frisk decides to block Sans out and thinks back from 6 years ago, back when they were in The Underground. They were Inside Waterfall exploring The Caves.

Frisk had just used The Star for reasons they cannot remember, other than they remember using it more than once during their time in The Underground. They remember walking past it afterwards, and coming across a tall gray door that they do not remember being there before.

Being curious and full of Determination. They opened the door, to see nothing but pitch darkness.

The door closed behind them loudly with an echo for a few seconds. They looked back behind themselves for the door to be gone and when they turned back around. They were able to see a faint light in the darkness ahead, deciding to go on forward to see what the light was.

They stopped after walking for what felt like awhile and saw what looked like a tall Skeleton. Only they were hunched over, with a huge twisted grin, their right eye-socket looked like the shape of the moon when it is crescent, only it is upside down.

Their left eye-socket seemed normal. Only both had what looked like deep cracks, like they were broken. Their right eye-socket had a long crack going up with a slight wave to it.

The left eye-socket had a crack going downward, their twisted grin of darkness. Unsure if this being was even a skeleton at all. But they had to be.

The appearance of their hands had holes in them. Their head and hands looked like a skeleton's, but their expression was something else entirely. There was no teeth showing, just a twisted grin of darkness, no it was a large unusual smile.


This monster was dressed in black,darkness surrounding all around them and had what looked like black goop like substance falling off of them yet going up into the air as well? disappearing on and off, and this monster giving them this uneasy feeling that they cannot explain, but they didn't let it scare them.

They had to stay Determined, they had to leave this strange place of darkness, but first learn who this strange monster was and where they came from, ask them for a way out. Because they had to come from somewhere. That was what Frisk thought to themselves.

They cautiously walked over to them and spoke. "Hello, who are you? I have never seen you before, where did you come from? and do you know a way out of this place?"

The tall skeleton-like monster didn't reply. Frisk asked again and still got no reply. So this time, Frisk poked the strange monster and got a response that looked like a startled gasp, maybe a laugh. Frisk was unsure. The strange monster disappeared immediately right in front of them.

Frisk scratched the back of their head, feeling confused and shrugged their shoulders. They heard the sound of a door opening and turned around, they were in front of The Gray Door, it was gone before.

They didn't try to think about it anymore, they immediately entered through it and was back in Waterfall. Frisk looked behind themselves to see that The Gray Door had disappeared, as if it was never there at all.

They thought to themselves. *Did that really happen? Maybe i fell asleep or imagined it? weird.*

They brush it off and continue on their journey.Frisk snaps out of their deep thoughts of remembrance after feeling a few light shakes on their shoulders.

Hearing a familiar voice. "hey kid! kid! are you alright?"

Frisk looks up and sees Sans, with a worried,frightened expression. Frisk explains their memory to him.
