Chapter 57

***Nokukhanya's POV.

Sante and I bought a new house in La Lucia , we planning on moving to it in a month or so. Well I have gained my complexion back , no more pimples or acne and I'm also back to my body. My husband and I are in our happiest moment , we habe decided to let things be with our issue of conceiving.

Sante : "Baby , come." We were going to his home to visit his parents since they were around. We got there in two hours since it's quite a distance. Well Sante's parents , no family actually are Royals of Umsinga. The Mchunu kingdom is in Umsinga , in a place known as Emachunwinini. His parents visit this side occasionally and we also visit them sometimes.

Mah : "Ohhh ngane yami"  (my child.)  His mother says already hugging me. She pecks my lips as we break the hug , I'm used to her kisses now cause she's just like my mom. I also greet my father in-law with a hug.

Baba : "How are you my daughter?"

Me : "Siyaphila singezwa kunina?"  (We are fine , how are You?)

Baba : "Ahh , I'm happy to see my kids and I'm mostly happy to see the both of you back to normal."  I giggle.

Sante : "So we weren't normal?" He asks throwing his around my shoulder and kisses my neck.

Baba : "No , y'all weren't."

Mah : "Let's get inside , I cooked my special dish."  We went inside the house , we sat around the table. I dished up for me and my man while Mah dished up for baba. Sante blessed the food and we ate.

Me : "Mama this is delicious , like always."

Sante : "Yeah mom , this us nice."

Baba : "Yeah and she is my WIFE."

Sante : "Hawu what did we say?!" We all laugh.

Mah : "Makoti , don't you feed my son kanti?"  She asks shocked as Sante refills his plate for the third time.

Me : "Well he has a big appetite these days."  The parents look at each other then Mah smiles at me. I collect the dishes to the kitchen right after we finish eating.

Mah : "Don't wash them ke , the helper will."  I nod.

Me : "okay"

Mah : "Follow me."  I follow her and we walk to my bedroom with Sante that we usually sleep in. She takes out something from her dress pocket and hands it to me.

Me : "Aibo mah! What am I supposed to do with a pregnancy test?"

Mah : "Go!"  She says pointing at the bathroom door with her head and arms folded. I huff and just go take the test. I wash my hands after peeing on the stick , I leave it on the bathroom basin. I sit on the toilet sit waiting , when time is up , I take a look and it's negative. I give my mother in law and just flop on the bed.

Mah : "I'm sorry baby but we really thought , well I saw signs and I thought I was right."

Me : "It's okay mama."   She kisses my forehead and walks out. I wipe my tears before they even fall. I decide to go and check on Andisiwe cause I saw her car , I know Andiswa wherever she is , she's with a man or she's partying with her friends. I find Andisiwe's door a little open and she seems to be talking to someone.

Andisiwe : "I know my job , I did it and it won't take that long to show that."

Andisiwe : "In a few hours they'll be reported to be in an accident , don't worry."  I see Sante coming my way , I quickly signal for him to be quiet and come to me. We are now both eavesdropping.

Andisiwe : "YES! They here and I know , they won't sleep over."

Andisiwe : "Okay bye."  We tiptoe back to our room and lock the door.

Sante is now pacing around the room , scratching his hair frustratedly.

Me : "Babe , please calm down. We are not even sure yet. Let's not jump into conclusion and please don't you dare confront her nor act strange cause she'll know we know something."

Sante : "Okay."  He kisses me. The kiss escalates , when I try to unbuckle his pants , he holds my hands.

Me : "Hawu baby?"

Sante : "No babe , please can we later?"  I just look at him then fix myself and walk out.
