Stolen Heart

Chapter 02

So fortunately for me I did get a job as a cleaner in DL Logistics. I've been working there for three months now. I still don't have friends but atleast I do get along with Sma , the receptionist lady. We usually have lunch together and she's a loud person , she's always talking but I seriously don't mind. She is 21 and a student part-time.

Sma : "Sani did you hear that one of the big boss's son will ve coming back from overseas?"

Me : "No and what is so special about this guy?"

Sma : "He's so hot , an alpha hot type of guy."

Me : "oh okay. Let me get back to work."

Sma : "you such a bore."  She says rolling her eyes walking away. I chuckle and go back to work.

Knocking off , I quickly change back to my clothes then grab my things and walk out. This girl bumps to me since she's busy with her phone.

Girl : "oh my god I'm so sorry sisi. I wasn't looking. I really apologize."  She keeps blabbering, she looks cute in her school uniform and glasses.

Me : "it's okay but stop using your phone while walking and watch where you going next time."

Girl : "I hear you."  I smile and walk off.

Unlocking my place and enter , I am met by a hard slap.

Thulani : "WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU COMING FROM?!"  He roars in my face.

Me : "Why are you angry? I've been looking for work."

Thulani : "Nxx."  I release my breath as soon as he leaves. I go take a shower than get comfortable in a baggy tshirt and some socks only. I order pizza which arrives after thirty minutes. I sit in front of the TV and indulge my pizza.  I get startled by the door roughly opening. Thulani locks the door and comes straight to me and grabs me by hair , he drags me to the bedroom with my hair.

Me : "Thulani you hurting me!"

Thulani : "Shut up! You lie to me now?"  He throws me on the bed and takes out his belt , he starts beating me with it all over my body.

Me : "I'm sorry."  He leaves the belt and put his hands around my throat choking me. I tried wiggling myself but it didn't help. I felt my lungs closing in and my soul leaving me slowly then he lets go of me. I cough hard while gasping for air. He then starts punching me and kicking me all over my body. All I can do right now is apologize for whatever that made him this angry. He finally stops and goes to the bathroom , he comes back after a short while and picks me up then throw me painfully inside the tub.

Thulani : "Clean yourself up!"  He walks out banging the door. My body feels numb and I can't move it but I have to try. The tap is still running so the water is filling and I can't move ny body to even close the tap. I try getting up but I slip and fall inside the water. The water starts choking me.

I open my eyes and their welcomed by a sharp brightness. The smell , sound of beeps confirm that I'm in hospital. When my eyes are finally adjusted to the light , I scan around the room and I'm alone. I press the panic button. Shortly a doctor walks in followed by a nurse.

Doc : "Look who's awake!"

Me : *clears throat* "wa.t..er?"  The nurse helps me drink the water.

Doc : "How are you feeling Miss?"

Me : *clears throat*  "my body is aching."

Doc : "understandable. You have fractured ribs and a broken arm but you will heal in no time."

Me : "how long have I been out?"

Doc : "two days."  I nod.

Me : "who brought me here?"

Doc : "Your uncle."  Wow that jerk even has the nerve to claim himself my uncle when he's been treating me like his girlfriend? Delusional.

Me : "please don't let him in."  The doctor nods looking confused.
