Rushing out of their bedroom, he walked through the other set of stairs that led into the garden. She didn't know what was going on in his mind. But a few seconds later, her eyes grew wide when he took her to the temple that Ruby and Rowan had gifted her.

Taking off his shoes, he stepped inside while she did the same and simply followed him completely shocked. And why not?

The man who never really liked the idea of a temple in their house, the man who never really spared a glance at it was now actually standing inside with his gaze stuck on Lord Shiva's face? This was something she never really thought would happen. She had no clue what was going on in his mind and to be honest, she was a little scared.

Her revere of thoughts broke when she heard him saying, "I never really believed in god. I don't believe even now but you believe in him. You pray Lord Shiva everyday and thank him for blessing you with such a loving family."

Looking at her, he held her arm and continued, "So today, right in front of him I vow to you that I love you and will love you till my last breath. I will be faithful to you no matter what. Sweetheart, you mean the world to me and I really can't live without you. It is not that I didn't want to tell you about my past. Of course, I wanted to but... But I was really scared to lose you."

She scrunched her eyebrows in absolute confusion when he said he was scared of losing her. Was he thinking that she will leave him?

As she bit her lower lip and looked at him with tears streaming down her cheeks, he let out his fear, "I thought you will leave me after knowing about my past or my behaviour. But I promise to be the husband you deserve. I will never betray you. I will love you with all my heart. Please don't leave me. I cannot live without you. I..." His voice cracked in the end as tears pooled in his eyes while she placed her delicate fingers on his lips and shook her head as if asking him not to say anything more.

"I cannot live without you too. I love you darling."

His word held love, respect and undeniable care for her and how could she not melt? Didn't she know her husband? Of course she did. Even though his past was way different from what she could ever think of, but still she knew he is not a bad person. He knows the the meaning of 'love' and 'respect'. He cared for her genuinely and what more could she even ask for?

Unable to get any other word from her word, she just threw her arms around his neck and hugged him like her entire life depended on it while he let out a happy tearful chuckle and hugged her too chanting, "I am so sorry sweetheart, I love you so much."

And as the couple talked and cleared things out, Ruby who stood outside the temple wiped her tears and thanked Lord Shiva for helping her kids find the right path to a happy life ahead.

The next two days passed quickly and it felt like their life was back to normal. Eric left to Europe that morning for a 10 days business trip and Xavier accompanied him. Of course, he promised to take her on a honeymoon once he was done with this business trip and she being the wonderful understanding wife that she is, she simply asked him not to rush and work peacefully.

After she was done with her English lessons, that afternoon she went to the crafts store. She wanted to go back working on her pottery skills and wanted to make a few articles to be put up in their mansion. Carlos was waiting in the car speaking to his family on phone while she was in the store going through the stuff she needed to make pots.

This time she was planning on making pots for small indoor plants and give them to Ruby and Charlotte first. If they liked it, she was even planning on gifting his relatives too.
