"Good Morning Mom!" Eric greeted kissing Ruby on her cheek while she smiled and ruffled his hair lovingly greeting him back, "Good Morning Dear!"

"Where is Mahima?"

"She is sleeping. I guess it's the jet-lag." He replied taking a seat next to her at the dining table while she nodded her head and picked up the glass of orange juice saying, "Tell me about it. This morning, I was too lazy to wake up. LOL!"

Smiling at her, he looked at the freshly brewed coffee in front of him. Before going to India, he sure was a coffee person but since the day he tasted that amazing tea prepared by his wife; that was the first thing he wanted in the morning.

Oh, how much he wanted to drink tea prepared by her!

His revere of thoughts broke when he saw the maid setting his breakfast. Clearing his throat, he to a sip of his coffee and asked, "Where is dad?"

"What do you think?"

"Don't tell me he is sleeping too!" He asked with an amused smile playing on his face while his mother laughed loudly and nodded her head saying, "BINGO! That man is out like light since he hit the bed last night!"

Giggling like a little girl, she sliced a tiny portion of her cheese toast saying, "Charlotte is sleeping too. Xavier tried waking her up this morning but poor boy nearly got punched in his throat. Apparently, she barked at him that she is 'jet-lagged'!"

Rolling his eyes, Eric stated the greatest fact in this universe, "Mom, she is lazy! She doesn't have to be 'jet-lagged' to sleep. She loves her sleep way too much."

True! Charlotte did love her sleep a lot. Try disturbing her sleep and you won't see the next sunrise!

"So do you plan on taking Mahima out today?"

"Yes, I do! I was thinking on taking her for some shopping. I wanted to buy something for her. And then maybe I will take her out on dinner tonight." He replied carefully keeping the 'doctor' topic off from the conversation. Because, slightest hint and Ruby would go crazy with the grandchildren topic 'again'. And the last thing he wanted was a headache in the name of 'baby'!

Well, let Mahima hear that Eric!

But then again, if he thought he was successful in keeping off the topic of grandchildren from his mother, then oh boy; he was so wrong! So, so wrong!!

Because, out of nowhere, Ruby placed her elbows on the table and rested her chin on the back of her hands saying, "I can't wait to hold my grandchildren in my arms."

And to say, Eric's mind nearly fused out would be such an understatement.

Here he tried his level best to stay away from 'baby' topics and there his mother practically dug them out like this was the only thing she was left to do in this world.

Clearing his throat, he placed the knife back in his plate saying, "Mom, we want to wait for a few years before starting a family."

"What? But why?"

Even though she knew Eric was right from his side, with the bubbling excitement growing up every single day, she just couldn't help herself!

"Years? How many years?"

Clearing her throat, she asked desperately hoping to hear an answer singular form but all in return she got was plural.

"3 years!"

"3 YEARS???? Oh my god! Why?"

Now to say her impatience grew ten folds with each passing second would be just nothing. Here she was dying to hear the little feet pitter-patter and there his son was setting a huge time frame to start a family.
