That afternoon Eric was too busy with the site work to even look at his watch. And he was someone who neither feels hungry or thirsty when he was deeply immersed in work. The only thing on his mind would be work and only work.

Of course it is needless to say that poor Xavier had cursed him with all his being for his workaholic nature. Poor man was actually feeling hungry but Eric completely switched him off asking for some other details about the plant.

There wasn't a minute that Xavier hadn't wished for some angel to magically appear there and save him from dying of hunger.

But don't they say angels do listen to your little wishes? Yes, being the little angel that she is, Mahima appeared out of nowhere with a wide smile playing on her face.

The instant Xavier's gaze fell on the huge lunch box she was carrying, his eyelashes batted like a little happy butterfly and he rushed towards her with a cheeky grin playing on his face.

"What is the size of that area in 30degree North East?" Eric asked still looking at the huge area through the binoculars but poor man received nothing in response.

Still looking at the area ahead he clicked his tongue and said, "Xavier I asked you something!"

"Lunch ready!"

The instant her soft voice hit his eardrums; he moved the binoculars away and snapped his head at her. Yes, there she was standing with soft smile playing on her face. Her parrot green saree went really well with her subtle dusky complexion and to say his heart skipped several beats would be such an understatement.

It was obvious that since they didn't come for lunch, she brought their lunch here and Xavier couldn't thank her enough. He was already at the verge of dying.

As he stood there gawking at her, she scrunched her eyebrows and waved her hand in front of his face as if asking where he was lost while he simply shook his head with a small smile playing on his face.

Hunching a little forward he whispered in her ears, "You look sexy!"

Of course it is needless to say that she understood the words 'you' and 'look' but poor girl was completely unaware of the word 'sexy'.

"Manjhe?"

With a naughty smirk playing on his face, he shook his head and moved towards the cot under the huge banyan tree where Xavier was already sitting smelling the delicious dishes.

And as she started serving them food, he sat there looking at her with a strange happiness filling up his heart.

... Well I know that these feelings won't end; And ah, they get stronger if I see you again, ah; Baby, I'm tired of being friends, oh! ...

"Just for your kind information, the site is this way!" Xavier said rolling his eyes when he saw Eric looking at her through the binoculars.

Yes, the man who was busy all this while with his site work was now busy playing the crazy lover boy card.

She was at the temple offering her prayer to Lord Shiva. Her hands were joined together near her chest and her head was bent a little just the way he had seen her for the first time. There was something in her that kept attracting him towards her with each passing second.

And for the first time he couldn't stop this little thought of 'marriage' from creeping in his mind. He had no clue why he was so attracted towards her. There were so many girls in the past who tried to marry him and did everything in their reach to be with him but this woman was so different.
