Chapter 41

HAVENS POV
When I woke up I went downstairs and found Sammy on the couch. He smiled when he saw me and then spoke,
"TOMORROW IS YOUR BIRTHDAY" he said happily.
"Yeah" I said laughing.
"We're throwing a party with all of the guys and some other friends at 7:00 tomorrow" he said excitedly.
"What 'other friends' are coming" I asked.
"Um....the rest of o2l, the rest of the Magcon boys, Brent (Rivera), Nate, Dylan (o'brien), Chandler, and a couple other people" he answered.
"I want to spend today with you but I need to go pick up something that's like an early birthday present right now. I'll be back in about half an hour. Love you" he said standing up and walking out the door. I made a whole lot of pancakes for everyone and we all sat down to eat. After about an hour, Sammy walked through the door. "CLOSE YOUR EYES" He yelled. He walked towards me and stopped. "OPEN" He said said. I opened my eyes to see Sammy smiling while holding a puppy. He laughed and handed it to me. It was the cutest thing ever. "Oh my gosh Sammmmmy" I said happily.
"Is it a boy or a girl" I asked.
"It's a boy" he answered.
"What's his name" I asked.
"He's yours, you get to name him. Do you like him" he asked.
"Yes I love him! Thank you!" I said as I leaned in to kiss him.
"A hmm hmHMMM" Jack began fake-coughing so we pulled apart me hugged instead.
"We'll were gonna head out and get some party things worked out, Sammy you can get dog food or a dog bed or whatever he needs with Haven while were out" Nash said and everyone walked out the door. Sammy and I walked outside and got in his car. I held the puppy in the passenger seat with me while Sammy drove to the pet store. As we drove we talked about the dog,
"What should we name him" I asked.
"You can name him whatever you want" he said smiling.
"I want him to be OURS though so we can have a little puppy together" I said laughing.
We brainstormed names until we found the perfect name,
"Sammy I know what to name him!" I said excitedly.
"What is it" he asked.
"Hamm, with 2 m's." I said laughing.
"That's perfect" he responded.
Once we got to the pet store we got a dog bed, a leash, food, and a collar with his name, address and our phone numbers. We went out for lunch then went to a couple of stores. Once it was close to 7:00 we began driving home. When we were driving home, Ham fell asleep in my arms then I fell asleep. I later woke up, in my bed. I looked up and saw Mahogany asleep.
I looked at my phone and it was 11:47. I got a text from Sammy,
Sammy--"Are to awake"
Haven---"yeah, I just woke up"
Sammy--"can you meet me downstairs in the backyard, I'm bored"
Haven--"yeah I'm heading down there"
Sammy--"okay😊"

I got up and put on some high knee socks with my shorts since it was a little cold outside. Ham was on the dog bed beside me so I left him upstairs and quietly walked down the stairs and outside. Sammy was outside already sitting in the grass. I walked up and sat down beside him. "Hey babe" he said quietly smiling
"Hey" I responded smiling.
"Do you come out here a lot or just when you ask me to come out here" I asked.
"Just when I can be with you. It's different when we're out here like this because we're alone and there's No world except for us" he explained.
"That's sweet. This should be our place, where we can come and hang out whenever we want or need to" I said. He both lay back in the grass and looked at the sky. There were lots of stars out tonight so it was fun to explore them all. It was nice to just out the world away and be alone with Sammy (we put the world away..we get so disconnected lol 5sos song lyrics). We talked for a couple minutes then he said something important,
"Haven you know I didn't just bring you out here tonight for no reason" he said laughing. He clicked on his phone and looked at the screen.
"What are we here for then" I asked.
"Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight now" he said.
"Haven, you are now 17 years old" he said happily.
"Happy birthday" he added smiling. "Sammy, you always do these sweet things and I love it....I love you" I said kissing him.
"I love you too" he said smiling.
"Do you feel 17" he asked.
"No I feel 18 or 19, but I am 17" I said laughing.
"Your almost 18, and since your doing online school and your almost done, it'll go by really fast" he explained.
"Yeah, I'm glad that I don't need to see those kids or teachers ever again. I feel safe when I'm here with you guys" I said.
We looked at the stars and tried to see if we remembered any constellations. It was fun, and after a while we stood up and decided to go back to bed,
"Can we do this next year on my birthday" I asked.
"Of course" he said smiling as we quietly walked in the house. It was around 1 or 2 a.m so we both went to our rooms and fell asleep immediately.
