A/N: I don't own any of the lyrics

John's POV:

The boys and I have been working on a song for Peggy for nearly 3 months. It was nearly finished and all we had to do was record it. So, obviously, I invited Peggy to the studio for our anniversary so she could hear it.

John: lovelyyyyyyy

Peggy: yesssssss?

John: can u come 2 the s2dio?

Peggy: only if you start texting like a normal human being

John: fine then u wont hear my new song

Peggy: I'LL BE THERE IN 10

John laughed and put his phone away. He and his band practiced the song 2 more times before Peggy arrived. He smiled as soon as her bubbly self walked through the heavy doors of the studio.

"John!" Peggy shouted and ran to hug him. He chuckled and hugged her back before leading her to an antique chair that he got in his studio specially for her. "Ooo this is comfy." Peggy giggled as John kissed her hand then went to the sound booth.

"Ready, Peggy?" John laughed into the mic. "As I'll ever be." Peggy smiled and watched as her boyfriend cued the band to start playing as he started singing.

"Woo girl, you're shinin'
Like a 5th Avenue diamond
And they don't make you like they used to
You're never goin' out of style

Woo pretty baby
This world might have gone crazy
The way you saved me, who could blame me
When I just wanna make you smile

I wanna thrill ya like Michael
I wanna kiss you like Prince
Let's get it on like Marvin Gaye, like Hathaway
Write a song for you like this

You're over my head, I'm out of my mind
Thinkin' I was born in the wrong time
One of a kind, livin' in a world gone plastic
Baby, you're so classic
Baby, you're so classic
Baby you
Baby, you're so classic

Four thousand roses
Anything for you to notice
All the way to serenade you
Doin' it Sinatra style

I'ma pick you up in a Cadillac
Like a gentleman, bringin' glamour back
Keep it real to real in the way I feel
I could walk you down the aisle

I wanna thrill you like Michael
I wanna kiss you like Prince
Let's get it on like Marvin Gaye, like Hathaway
Write a song for you like this

You're over my head, I'm out of my mind
Thinkin' I was born in the wrong time
It's not a rewind, everything is so throwback-ish
I kinda like it, like it

Out of my league, old school chic
Like a moviestar from a silver screen
You're one of a kind, livin' in a world gone plastic
Baby, you're so classic
Baby, you're so classic
Baby, you're so classic

Baby you're class, and baby you're sick
I never met a girl like you ever 'til we met
A star in the 40's, centerfold in the 50's
You got me trippin' out like the 60's, hippies
Queen of the discotheque
A 70's dream with an 80's vest
Hepburn, Beyoncé, Marilyn, Massive
Girl, you're timeless
Just so classic

You're over my head, I'm out of my mind
Thinkin' I was born in the wrong time
It's not a rewind, everything is so throwback-ish
I kinda like it, like it

Out of my league, old school chic
Like a moviestar from a silver screen
You're one of a kind, livin' in a world gone plastic
Baby, you're so classic
Baby, you're so classic
Baby, you're so classic
Ooh, classic"

Peggy was clapping and happy by the end of the song. "That was incredible!!!" She squealed and hugged John as soon as he came out of the booth. "You wrote that for me?" She asked and looked up at his with puppy dog eyes.

"Of course! You're my Inspiration for everything!" John said, kissing her head. "Aww you're so cheesy." Peggy laughed but kissed him anyway.

"I love you Pegs."

"I love you too Johnny."
