Peggy POV:

Two lines.

I'm pregnant.

But who's the father?

You might be wondering how I ended up in this mess? And how I don't know who the father is? Right?

Well you might think "Peggy it's not hard to think about who you last slept with." Well it is for me.
...because it was 3 different guys.

Possible Father 1: John Laurens

I met him about 3 weeks ago.

We had a one night stand and hit it off but he left in the morning.

Possible Father 2: Lafayette

Also met him 3 weeks ago. After John.

One night stand and he made me croissants in the morning.

Possible Father 3: Herc Mulligan

Also about 3 weeks ago.

He saved me from a street gang

One night stand and I left first.

...

Luckily I had all their numbers. But how would I tell them?

I couldn't just text them each  "hey I'm pregnant and it might be your kid but it also might not be" that's not fair or right.

I sighed. I should probably tell my sisters.

LilSis💛: I have something to tell y'all...

OldSis💖: do you finally have a boyfriend?

MidSis💙: ^

LilSis💛: Not exactly...

MidSis💙: what? Are you getting married or sumthin?

LilSis💛: no...

OldSis💖: YOU'RE PREGNANT!?!

MidSis💙: who's the father???

LilSis💛: ...I don't know...

OldSis💖: MARGARITA SCHUYLER YOU SHOULD KNOW BETTER THAN THAT

MidSis💙: how many options are there?

LilSis💛: ...3

OldSis💖: YOU SLEPT WITH THREE GUYS!?!?!?

LilSis💛: yeah.....

MidSis💙: oh my gosh Peggy!

MidSis💙: who are they?

LilSis💛: John Laurens, Hercules Mulligan and Lafayette

MidSis💙: Alex's friends?

LilSis💛: I guess

OldSis💖: ok we'll figure this out

MidSis💙: WE CAN THROW A PARTY AND INVITE ALL OF THEM AND THEN YOU CAN TELL THEM

OldSis💖: exactly!

LilSis💛: ok...

With Eliza making the invites for the "party" I had to figure out what I was going to wear.

I looked through my closet and found a yellow sundress with an off shoulder thingy.

Like that ^

I checked my phone and say a text from Eliza.

MidSis💙: they're coming!

Good...

I thought about how I would tell them. Maybe Eliza could introduce me to all three at once and then I could try to tell them? Maybe?

LilSis💛: ok but you gotta introduce me to all three at once as if I don't know them

MidSis💙: ok

I threw my phone into my bag and left my apartment. I got in ny car and drove to Eliza and Alex's house. They had just gotten married and moved in recently so it was a good place for a party.

When I got there, I saw a blue car (Eliza), a dark blue car (Alex), a pink car (Angie), a green car (probably John), a silver car (probably Lafayette) and a grey car (probably Herc) which means everyone is here.

I got out of my yellow car and walked up to the door and walked in.

As hoped, it was just my sisters and "The Revolutionaries" as they call themselves.

Eliza walked over to me, gripping my arm gently and bringing me over to the group of guys.

"John, Herc, Laf, this is Peggy." Eliza said, motioning to me.

They all kind of stared at me for a second, probably remembering that night 3 weeks ago.

"She has something to tell you boys. You might want to sit down." Eliza started.

All three boys sat down and I took my cue to start talking.

"I'm pregnant..." I said, quiet so people 3 feet away couldn't hear but loud enough that the boys could.

They all stayed quiet for a minute. Probably processing what they were just told.

"Really?"

"What!?"

"Merde..."

They all said at once. Then looked at eachother.

They probably just realized they all slept with me.

"Who's is it?" Herc asked.

"I don't know..." I said quieter.

John came up to me and rubbed my back. "We can all help you right?" He asked.

I nodded. "Only if you want to..." I said to them.

And that was the start of something beautiful.
