Amara POV

I walk into the Martinez house and I freeze at the group of angry parents including mine. Oh boy.

Abuelita:You're in trouble.

I try to sit down next to her but my dad calls my name and I bounce back up walking to the table. I sit next to Monse and I see them all still glaring.

Me:What happened now?

Monty:You knew they were doing all of this!? And you didn't tell us?

I frown and look at the three, Monse nods and I slowly slouch lower into the chair.

Me:In my defense, I was dragged into it all, I tried to tell them but you know your kids once they're on to something they can't let it go.

Uncle Wayne:Woah Woah back up.

Jamal:To which part?

Mr. Martinez:When Juanita fell in love with you, and you took down some guy named Juilo?

Monty:No, Juilo was a gnomie.

He killed the Gnomie and gave the owner a heart attack.

Genny:Who cares? Ruby, why are you hanging out with a gang boss?

Ruby:Like I had a choice.

Monse:No, she kidnapped us.

Ruby:Technically cops on her payroll did.

Uncle Wayne:You got kidnapped?

Dad:When the hell did this happen?!

Genny:Why would she kidnap you?

Jamal:Cause she thought we could pull it off. I mean we did take down the prophet$ after all.

We fist bump and chuckle but I drop it once I see my dad and uncle glaring at me.

Monty:Wait what? The... Cops got them for the bank robbery.

Jamal:No, we brought them down after we found the Roller world money.

Monse hits him with a scoff, nah don't try and play it off now I already know what she doing. Yall found the money remember?

Monse:Jamal! You mean you found it.

Mr. Martinez:*shocked*That's impossible.

I like Ruby's father he's funny.

Ruby:Actually not, we just followed the clues.

Auntie:Like a scavenger hunt?

Jamal:Ha! Mom! No! Scavenger hunts are for the JV team and Chivo. But Chivo was just the side quest.

Me:No Rollerworld would be JV Lil Ricky would be Varsity.

Jamal:Why would you bring up my only failure?

You sounded a little too cocky, sorry.

Mr. Martinez:*stuttering* Which-which one is Chivo again?

Jamal:Lil Ricky's cousin who has the Gnomies.

Mr. Martinez:Right. Which are magical.

Ruby:No

Jamal:Yes.

They do that for a second before I smack Jamal up side the head he glares at me and I buck at him only for him to scoot over towards Ruby.
