When Jake heard the radio call at Gina's desk when he and Boyle got back, he frowned.
"What's going on?" Jake asked, he and Charles joining them around her desk, staring at the radio.
"There's an active shooter in a hotel in Brooklyn Heights." Holt informed them.
"Requesting additional units."
"Multiple casualties, ESU was on route and officers are responding to the scene right now."
"We have people running advice 6 or seven shots fired."
"Numerous civilians coming this way."
"Wallace, 9328, show me going."
"9328 i have you going."
"Wilbert 9825 show me going."
"9825 i have you going."
"What are they saying?" Gina asked.
"Show me going and their badge number there telling dispatch they're close by and on their way."
"Diaz, 3118 show me going."
"3118 i have you going."
"Rosa Diaz?" Boyle gasped.
"That's Rosa's badge number." Jake gulped. "Rosa's there."
"Oh god. Kenzie's with Rosa." Zach remembered, and sure enough-
"Knox, 1654 show me going." Jake paled rapidly and gasped, staring at the radio.
"1654 i have you going."
