" Salam wailakum" I said as I entered Layla's house.
" Wailakum salam habibti, kayf haluk?" Layla's mother said.
" Alhamdullilah umi." I replied .
" My baby got so big !" She exclaimed picking up Housain .
" Yea he did." I laughed .
" How's your parents?". She asked .
" They're fine , they just came back ." I said .
" Alhamdullilah, Layla's father and I have to go and see them." She said .
" In Shaa Allah". I said .
" Layla is in her room" she said .
Layla's mom was a second mom to me we are very close. I've known her since I was a little kid.
" Salamm." I said entering Layla's room .
" Salam , oh I missed my baby." She said grabbing Housain.
" He misses you too." I said .
" So why did you finally decide to come visit me ." She said .
" Umm because I missed you and you've been acting mad weird . Like what did I do ." I said .
" Because you have a new best friend and I don't have time to third wheel." She said .
" Girl who ? ...Fatima ?" I said .
" Who else." She said .
" Bro just cuz I got closer with her don't mean your not my bestfriend anymore." I said .
" I'm not a jealous person and I don't have anything against her but I have a bad feeling about her and I can't seem to put my finger on it ." She said .
" Stop it , your being paranoid ." I said .
" Just give her a chance she's really nice ." I said .
" Whatever , we cool now so put on a movie and stop hanging out with her so much ." She said .
" I'll see if I'm picking up the same vibe that you are. Oh and We having a huge movie night on Saturday and everyone is going to be there." I said .
" Like who? you know I don't do people ." She said .
" Not too much of us but we're using the theater." I said
" So from my side it's going to be Yunus, Kadija, the twins, you, and Fatima " I said.
" From Ibrahim's side it's going to be Outhman, Halima, Safia and her husband , Zahara , Surraiyah, and his friend Raihan." I said .
" So in total it's going to be 15 of us ." I said .
" That's a lot but bet." She said .
" And your helping me cook." I said
" Ughhh.. whatever." She said .
After hours of being in Layla's house and enjoying ourselves it was time to go home .
1 hour later
I was in bed when Ibrahim told me we had to be on a mission .
