"Woahhhhhh..." I remarked as we walked into the lobby of the resort. There was a literal waterfall on the wall to our left which was something I had never seen before. "You're like a kid in a candy shop." Colby said with a laugh as we walked to the front desk.
"Yes. Yes, I am." I said as the front desk clerk smiled at us. "Hi! How may I help you?" She asked as Colby laced his fingers through mine. "We're checking in." He said with a grin. "What's your name for the reservation?" She asked as Colby smiled. "Brock." He said then looked at me.
"Perfect! These are your keys. You'll be in 14. That's down the dock and to the right. Enjoy!" The receptionist said and handed Colby the keys. "Thank you." He said then picked up his bag and led the way.
"This isn't real." I said and looked at all of the little bungalows that were on the water. "Oh, it's real." Colby said then stopped in front our bungalow. "Wanna do the honors?" He asked as he turned to me.
"No, you can do it." I said then took his bag so he could unlock the door. I watched as he carefully unlocked the door. When he opened the door I couldn't help the gasp that left my lips.
The little house was absolutely gorgeous. The living room was very open with a kitchen off to the right. On the counter was a big cake that had beautiful fresh fruits on it, there was also two big bottles of champagne and a big bouquet of wild flowers.
"Oh my god..." I whispered as I dropped out bags and walked to the back sliding door that led to a patio. There was also a little pool and hot tub out there which was a little strange considering we were literally on the ocean.
There were rise petals in the hot tub which gave it a very romantic vibe. "I love this." I said as Colby wrapped his arms around me and rested his chin on my shoulder. "I can't believe we are finally here." He said quietly as we looked out towards the ocean.
"Yeah...let's go see the bedroom!" I said then took his hand and ran down the hallway. "Holy shit!" I yelled as Colby laughed. "This bed is HUGE!" I yelled then ran and jumped onto the giant bed.
They had also spread rose petals all over the bed and rolled towels up to look like hearts. They also put two boxes of chocolate on the front of our bed. "You're so adorable." Colby said as I grabbed one of the boxes and hugged it.
"I'm SO HAPPY!" I screamed and threw my hands in the air and laid back in the bed. "Come here!" I said as he laughed and crawled onto the bed. "Hi." I said then crawled over so I could straddle his hips. "Hi." He said then reached up and cupped my face as I leaned down to kiss him.
I grinned as he moaned into my mouth and put his other hand on my hip. I kissed him for a while before I pulled away. "Later." I said then rolled off of him and got out of the bed. I then went into the bathroom to see a giant shower and a huge bathtub with jets.
"Holy shit!" I exclaimed as Colby laughed from the other room. "Stop laughing at me!" I said with a laugh. "I can't help it. You're just too damn adorable." He said then came into the room. "Look at this though. This shower is HUGE." I said as he laughed.
"All I'm seeing is the different places I'm going to fuck you in." He said as I laughed and smacked his chest. "You're so horny." I said as he laughed. "Do you blame me?" He asked as I shook my head. "No." I said then turned to leave the room.
"I think we should celebrate." I said as I walked back into the living room. "I think so too." Colby said as he grabbed one of the champagne bottles. "Ooooo, I'll get the glasses." I said then danced over to the cabinets in the kitchen.
I opened the first one to see a bunch of snacks. "Oh, YUM!" I yelled and grabbed a pack of cookies from the cabinet. "I can't get over how cute you are." Colby said as he popped the bottle of champagne.
"I'm just happy that we are out of LA and away from people who are mean and want to break us up. It's just you and me for the next week. I'm just so fucking excited." I said and grabbed two glasses from the cabinet.
"Yeah, I'm really looking forward to unplugging and just getting to spend time with you." He. said as he poured us both a glass of champagne. "To being away from the bullshit." I said and raised my glass. "To being away from the bullshit." Colby repeated then clinked his glass against mine.
We drank our champagne as we unpacked our stuff since we were going to be here for a week. We decided that we were going to go in the pool since we didn't feel like leaving the bungalow today.
"Damn." Colby said as I walked out of the bathroom in my yellow bikini. "Better get used to this sight because I'm not putting real clothes on ALLLL week." I said then winked and walked towards the back door. "Oh, I'll get used to it alright." He said and followed me to the pool.
"I'm never getting out." I moaned out as I lowered my body into the water. "Not even for food?" Colby asked as I gasped. "OH! I'm so hungry..can we order food?" I asked and swam over to him, wrapping my arms around his neck.
"Yeah, you just want to get room service?" He asked as I nodded. "Yeah. We can start to explore tomorrow." I said as I wrapped my legs around his waist, letting him hold me. "Sounds good to me." He said and spun me in the water.
We swam for a little while before we ordered our food. I ended up getting teriyaki chicken with noodles and Colby got a burger with fries. When the food got here Colby went to grab the food. The sun was starting to set so I just leaned against the pool wall and watched it.
I was so happy in this moment that I felt like my heart was going to explode. Colby came back with the food a few minutes later then got back in the pool.
"Holy shit, this looks good." I said and licked my lips as I grabbed my fork. "Yeah, kinda jealous of what you got, not gonna lie." Colby said with a laugh.
"You can have a bite." I said and got a forkful of food then blew on it before bringing it to his lips. "You're letting me have a bite before you take a bite?" He asked as I nodded. "Yeah, you're the husband. You have to make sure it isn't poisoned." I said as he laughed and took a bite. "Yep. It's poisoned." He said then reached for my plate.
"NO!" I yelled and grabbed a bite of food for myself and shoved my fork in my mouth. "Mmmm Oh my god." I said and rolled my head back. "We're never leaving." I said as he laughed and took a bite of his food.
"Oh my god..you have to try mine." He said then held his burger up so I could take a bite. My eyes widened at how good the burger was. "Pineapple on a burger? Who would have known?" I asked then started eating my food again.
"Seriously though. I can't wait to try that cake that's inside." Colby said as I moaned. "We're gonna gain so much weight." I said with a laugh. "Nah, we'll burn off those calories." He said with a smirk.
"I guess you're right." I said as we continued eating. We ended up staying in the pool until the sun set then went inside. When we got inside we got cleaned up then cut up the cake that was in the kitchen and hung out in the living room.
The cake was vanilla with a vanilla pastry cream and fresh fruit with a white frosting. "This is so fucking good." I said and leaned into Colby's shoulder as he turned on a movie. "Not as good as your crisis cookies." He said as I laughed.
"Not my crisis cookies." I said with a laugh. "Those were the best cookies ever. No lie." He said as I shook my head. "Whatever you say." I said then ate another forkful of cake.
We watched movies for a while before my eyes grew heavier and heavier. I tried so hard to stay awake but I couldn't do it. "Goodnight, V." Colby said as he carried me to bed. "G'night." I mumbled and let myself melt into him.
As I drifted off fully I started thinking about how much fun we were going to have on this trip.
We were going to have the best time.
