"Psssst....Violet." Someone whispered as they shook my shoulder. "Sleeping." I said then turned away from the person. "You have to get up." Ki said and shook my shoulder again. I groaned then opened my eyes slowly, not recognizing where I was.

"Where the hell am I?" I groaned as I rubbed my eyes. "You guys crashed here." She said and gestured to Colby who was sleeping next to me. I felt myself coming back to reality as I looked around the room.

Colby and I were laying on the couch in the living room. There was trash all over the floor and spilled drinks everywhere. I noticed that Colby's flannel was draped over my legs and he was shirtless.

"Woah..." I said and brought my hand to my head. "Yeah..last night was crazy." Ki said as Kat walked into the room. "Are we ready?" She asked as I rubbed my eyes. "Ready for what?" I asked as Ki breathed a laugh. "Your dress fitting." She said as I groaned.

"That's today?" I asked as Kat handed me a bottle of water and an ibuprofen. "Yeah...I guess we should have thought this through." She said as Devyn and Tara came into the room. They looked about as rough as I felt.

"I'm so bloated from the alcohol that I'm not even gonna fit in the dress." I said and stood up, carefully moving Colby's arm so he could continue to sleep.

"You'll be fine. Drink some water and clean yourself up. We're gonna be in the car." Devyn said as they turned to leave the room. I stretched as they all left the room. I huffed out a breath, feeling the nausea building in my stomach.

"V?" Colby groaned as I draped his flannel over his shoulder. "I have to go to a dress fitting." I said quietly then kissed his cheek. "Have fun." He said then pushed his face into the couch.

I chuckled then went into the bathroom and washed my face. I didn't have a toothbrush so I had to go upstairs to ask Sam if he had an extra.

When I got up there I knocked on his door. "Come in." He said as I opened the door. "Hey..do you have an extra toothbrush?" I asked and poked my head into the room. "Uhhhh...actually yeah." He said then walked to his bathroom.

"Here ya go." He said and handed me an orange toothbrush that was still in the pack. "Thanks...and Sam?" I asked as he hummed. "Can you make sure Colby drinks water when he wakes up? I don't want to deal with cranky Colby all day." I said as he laughed. "You got it." He said as I turned to leave the room.

I went downstairs and brushed my teeth then took my ibuprofen and drank some water. I honestly wasn't as hungover as I was expecting to be which was a good thing. I finished getting ready then went out to the car.

"Wow, that was faster than I was expecting." Tara said as I nodded. "Yeah, I'm actually feeling okay." I said as Kat started driving us to the bridal shop. "That's good. Last night was really fun." Ki said as I nodded. "The decorations were insane." I said with a smile and looked over at Devyn.

"Thanks! I love Halloween so much." She said with a smile. "Me too." I said then looked out the window.

"Can you believe you're getting married this month?" Kat asked as I shook my head. "No, it seriously feels like such a fever dream." I said with a laugh as I picked at the fishnets I was still wearing.

"Ya know, I never thought Colby would be the first one to get married." Tara said as Kat hummed in agreement. "What's Sam waiting for?" I asked with a laugh. "For his balls to drop." Ki said as Kat burst into laughter. "No, we just aren't ready for that step I guess. We're just happy where we are." She said as I nodded.

"There's nothing wrong with that." I said as she parked the car. We all got out of the car then made our way into the bridal shop. It still felt surreal that I was trying on my wedding dress for my wedding that was only two weeks away.

It would never feel real.

"Hey! How can I help you ladies?" The woman behind the desk asked as we walked into the shop. "I'm here to try on my wedding dress." I said as she smiled at me. "Perfect! What's your name?" She asked and looked down at her book. "Violet Richards." I said as she smiled. "Okay great! Follow me." She said then led the way to the back room.

"I'll go get the dress, just wait here." The lady said then left the room. "Oh! Did I tell you guys I found my mom's veil?" I asked as we all got settled into the room. "No way! That's amazing!" Ki said as I smiled.

"Yeah, so I have my something old and something borrowed." I said as Kat smiled. "I got your earrings the other day." She said as I nodded. "I guess that means I just need something blue." I said as Ki nodded. "I think you should get a blue garter belt." She suggested as I gasped slightly.

"That's a really good idea." I said as the door opened. "Okay, Violet. Ready to try your dress on?" The woman asked as she walked into the room with my dress. "More than ready." I said and stood up.

"Let's do this then." She said with a smile as I walked over to her. We stepped into the curtained dressing room then got me in the dress. I smiled and looked in the mirror forgetting how much I absolutely loved the dress.

"What do you think?" The lady asked as I admired the dress. "I love it." I said as she checked the fit. "It fits like a glove." She said as I nodded. "That's good." I said as she opened the curtain so I could show everyone.

"God, you look so good!" Devyn said as they all awed. "It's even prettier than I remembered." Ki said as I smiled widely. "Me too." I said then turned to look in the mirror again. I couldn't help but feel the butterflies swarming in my chest.

I looked so genuinely happy.

"We can bring the dress back to our place so Colby has no way of seeing it if you want." Kat suggested as I nodded. "That's probably a good idea." I said then turned to the dressing room so I could take the dress off.

Once the dress was off we zipped it up in the bag then made our way back to the car. I couldn't help but feel the excitement building up knowing that we were taking the dress home.

Everything was becoming real.

When we got back to the traphouse we went inside. Ki brought my dress to her room, making sure to sneak it passed Colby. The guys were busy cleaning the house so it was pretty easy to do this.

"Hey, babe. How are you feeling?" I asked Colby as I walked into the kitchen. "I feel like hot garbage." He said as he tossed an empty bottle of vodka in the trash bag he was holding. "You look hot though." I said and wiggled my brows.

"Heh. Right." He said as I grabbed the bag from him. We spent the next hour or so helping them clean the house. It wasn't completely clean when we decided to go home.

"God, I'm so hungover." Colby groaned as I started driving us home. "You're gettin old, babe." I said with a laugh. "Don't remind me. I miss when I didn't know what a hangover was." He said and took my hand and pulled it into his lap.

"Did you have fun last night though?" I asked as he nodded. "Yeah, I don't remember crashing but I guess I'm glad we didn't drive." He said as I laughed. "Yeah, I don't remember it either, I assume someone convinced us to stay though." I said with a shrug. "Yeah, probably." He said as I pulled into the driveway.

"Go ahead and lay down, I'm gonna make some lunch." I said as we walked inside. "You're the best, V." He said then kissed my cheek. "I know." I said with a wink then turned towards the kitchen.

I decided to make some soup since it was the first day of November and it seemed almost natural. I made the tomato soup then made some grilled cheese sandwiches and went up to our room.

"Ooooo, that smells so good." Colby said as I handed him the soup and sandwich. "Hangover special." I said then crawled into bed. "What are you watching?" I asked and started eating. "Nightmare Before Christmas." He said with a grin. "Ah, shit I love this movie." I said as he turned it up.

We spent the night eating and watching movies together. I loved nights like these because it was so simple. It was nice to be able to just have a chill night before things got hectic for the wedding.

I was so ready to get married.
