"Welcome to Cleveland. It is 9:47pm, partly cloudy, and 34 degrees Fahrenheit. We're gonna be landing in just a few minutes." The pilot said over the overhead speaker, waking me up.

"I slept the whole time?" I mumbled as I rubbed my eyes. "Yeah, you were out." Colby said with a laugh as he kissed my head.

"Fucking hell." I said and rubbed my eyes. "Are you feeling okay?" He asked as I nodded. "Yeah, I just can't believe I slept so long." I said with a laugh then took a sip of water. "What did you do while I slept?" I asked as he shrugged.

"Read a book." He said causing me to smile. "What book?" I asked as he pulled out his phone. "First-time Dad's pregnancy handbook." He said as I pouted my lip. "You're so fucking cute." I said then kissed his cheek.

"I gotta be prepared! I have no clue what I'm doing." He said as I giggled. "Neither do I...maybe I should read that, too." I said as the plane made it's way to the runway. "You're gonna be a great dad." He said as I chuckled. "You're an ass." I said and nudged him as he laughed and wrapped his arm around me.

"You said you wanted to read the dad book." He defended as I nodded. "Yeah, you're right." I said and leaned against him as we made our way to the gate. "I'm gonna be up all night." I said and looked up at Colby.

"I can tire you out." He said lowly as I shook my head. "I knew you were gonna say something like that." I said as they started onboarding the plane. "I can't help it that you're hot as fuck." He mumbled as I stood up.

"Relax." I said then started to pull my bag down from the overhead compartment. "V, don't do that. I've got it." Colby said as I shook my head. "It's not that heavy, I can do it." I said with a small smile then grabbed the bag and slung it over my shoulder.

"Alright, tough girl." Colby said then grabbed his bag. We slowly made our way off of the plane then towards the rental car building. "It's cold as hell." I said and shivered as we waited for the shuttle that would take us to the car rental place.

"I know what will warm you up." Colby said as I smacked his arm. "Stop it." I said with a laugh. "Can't help it." He said as the shuttle came. "I know that a hot bath would warm me up, but I can't do that." I huffed out at we got on the bus.

"We can stop and get hot chocolate and soup on the way to the hotel." Colby suggested. "That's a great idea." I said with a smile.

When we got to the rental car place we got our car then started our journey to the grocery store so we could get our hot chocolate and soup. As Colby drove I looked out the window, taking in the surroundings of my hometown.

The last time I was here was almost four years ago, when I was afraid to love Colby. I missed the familiarity of this place. Being on these roads that I've known my entire life gave me a sense of nostalgia but also a sense of pain that was settling in my stomach.

"You're quiet." Colby said as he held my hand. "Sorry, I was just thinking about the last time I was here." I said with a sigh. "God, I was so heartbroken." I said and chewed my lip. "I'm glad you came back for me." I said and looked over at him.

"I'm glad you took me back. I don't know where I would be without you." He said as I squeezed his hand. "You'd probably have a very vanilla life, with Lucy." I said as he laughed. "I forgot about Lucy. She hates me so much now." He said with a laugh as we pulled into the hotel parking lot.

"No, she hates me because I stole you from her." I corrected as we got out of the car. "Nah, you were always the one. I never gave her anything. She wanted me so badly though." He said as I nodded. "Yeah, I don't blame her." I said then grabbed my bag and walked into the building.
