"Can we put a veil on her?" Ki asked as she smiled at me. "Of course." Shelly said then went to grab it. "You look gorgeous, V." Devyn said as I nodded and wiped my tears, "Thank you." I said then looked in the mirror again.

I couldn't believe how absolutely in love with this dress I was until I really looked at it. The detailing in the bodice reminded me a lot of my mom's dress. The style was obviously completely different, but having that similarity made my heart so happy.

"Oh my god." Kat said and put her hands over her mouth as Shelly put the veil on me. "You look gorgeous, V." She said as I looked at myself in the mirror.

In this moment, everything became really real.

It was the first time I felt like an actual bride.

"This is the one?" Shelly asked as I nodded. "Yes." I said then turned to everyone again. I could see the happiness in their eyes as I brought my hand to my necklace.

"She's here with you, V. She's right here." Ki said and pointed to my chest. "I know. I'm thankful that you guys all came with me." I said and opened my arms so they could come hug me.

We spent the next couple minutes figuring out my measurements so we could alter the dress to fit me perfectly.

Once that was done we paid for everything then left the boutique.

"Did you want to go grab some dinner?" I asked the girls as I reached for my keys. "That sounds good to me." Colby's mom said with a nod. "Let's get mimosas." Ki said as we walked to the cars. "Sounds good." I said then unlocked my car.

We decided on a restaurant then made our way there. On the way Colby called me so I put it over the speaker so his mom could talk to him too.

"Hey, baby." I answered and tapped the steering wheel with my fingers. "Hey, what are you up to?" He asked as I pulled into the parking lot. "Going to dinner with your mom, Ki, Kat, Tara, and Devyn." I said and looked over at Colby's mom with a smile.

"Oh, where are you going?" He asked. "Some place called Craft." I said with a shrug. "Never heard of it." He said as I nodded. "Me neither. If you want me to bring you home something just look at the menu and text me." I said and parked the car.

"Okay, I might. Did you get the pictures Sam sent you?" Colby said causing me to perk up. "I haven't looked." I said then pulled out my phone and pulled up the pictures.

I couldn't help but pout my lip out at the picture of all of them in their suits. "You look so good." I said with a laugh and showed his mom. "You look handsome, Cole." She said as he chuckled. "Thank you. I'm gonna let you guys go so you can enjoy your dinner, I just wanted the seal of approval. Love you both." He said as his mom and I smiled at eachother.

"We love you too." I said then hung up the phone. "Let's go." I said then got out of the car.

When we walked into the restaurant the girls already had a table. "Sorry, Colby called to ask about the suits." I said as we sat down at the table. "Oh no, what happened?" Kat asked as Ki slid me and Colby's mom our mimosas.

"Nothing bad, look at how good they look." I said and showed them a picture of the guys. "They clean up niiiice." Tara said with a laugh. "Yeah, I think everyone is gonna look really good." I said with a smile and locked my phone and put it down.

We sat and enjoyed dinner together while talking about the rest of the things we needed to plan. We were still a few months out so there was plenty of time to plan things but I was still pretty stressed out.

I was never really into weddings when I was a kid. I never had a dream board or an idea of what I would want. I wasn't even fully convinced I would ever marry anyone before I met Colby so planning this wedding was an almost impossible task.

I was just really lucky I had my friends to help me with it.

When we finished dinner we went out separate ways. "Thanks again for coming all this way..I really appreciate you." I said to Colby's mom as I pulled into our driveway.

"You're welcome, sweetie. I'm glad I could be here." She said with a small smile as we got out of the car. "How long are you here for?" I asked as we made our way into the house. "Only a couple of days. I have to get back to work so I can take off more time for the actual wedding." She explained as we went inside.

When we walked in I heard Colby watching something in the living room. "You go ahead, im gonna put his food on a plate." I said and gestured to the living room. "Okay." She said as I made my way to the kitchen.

I let out a sigh then grabbed a plate so I could put the food I got for Colby on it. As I reached though a sharp pain filled my side causing me to gasp. "Fuck."I whispered as it went away.

I lifted my shirt to see if I saw anything externally that would cause that pain but there was nothing. "You're stressing yourself out too much." I said to myself then put the food on the plate and went into the living room.

"Here you go." I said and handed Colby his plate before sitting next to him on the couch. "Thanks, baby." He said then leaned over and kissed my cheek. "You're welcome." I said then grabbed a blanket and covered myself with it.

We spent the rest of the night hanging out with Colby's mom. I was so lucky that she was the sweetest person ever. I wished that she would stay for longer because I needed all the help I could get but I was grateful that she was here today.

I was just really happy that I found my dress.
