"Master Kenobi," Mace Windu called to the Jedi master on the other side of the council. Kira and Skywalker had just been dismissed and all of the council could sense an unease in some of its members, specifically in Master Kenobi who knew Anakin all too well. He could sense something in the force, moving and churning and thinning. "I can sense a great disturbance within you." He added and Obi-Wan shifted uncomfortably. "Sensing trouble you are master Obi-Wan." Yoda said from his place on the council. "Concerns you have about our decision you do." He added and Obi-Wan pressed a finger to his chin, in thought as always. "I am worried about the future of not only Kira but Anakin as well. For years it has against the Jedi code, it still is, why now should we allow a master to take on two padawans?" Other members of the council exchanged looks as yoda hummed softly. "A decision of ours this was not." Yoda said. "But a choice made by the force it is. Trust in it, we must."

"Morning sunshine." Fives greeted Kira at the launch bay with Echo at his side. Kira groaned. Her brown hair was up in a messy bun held by an iridescent silver scrunchie. "I'm so not a morning person." She said as she rubbed the temples on the sides of her head. "You'll be alright." Echo said with a smile. "A strong girl like you can handle an early morning no problem." He added. "I've known you for less then twenty four hours and even I know that's a lie." Kira replied causing both the men to chuckle. "Maybe Rex can bring you some caf." Kira raised an eyebrow. "Caf? What the-" "You don't have caf where you're from?" Fives asked surprised. "Wow maybe this earth place isn't as great as you made it seem." "Caf is like a caffeinated beverage." Echo told her, hoping to excuse Fives' behavior. "Oh so it's basically coffee." "What's coffee?" Echo asked, his eyes filled with interest as he was eager to learn about this earth place that he had never been to nor heard of. "Basically the same thing. And trust me, I probably need some help in ending my caffeine addiction so a break from it is probably not the worst thing in the world."

"General Skywalker." Fives addressed Anakin with a salute, Echo did the same. "And Captain Rex." He added. "Good morning, Fives." Anakin replied. "Kira." He addressed the girl. "Good morning." He told her. "Morning." She replied with her hands on her hips. She couldn't tell if it was because she was tired or if something was genuinely off but for a moment she felt herself get lightheaded. She pressed her palm to her forehead as a sudden sharp pain filled her head. She heard someone's muffled voice speaking to her and she looked up. Her vision flashed to grey hues, no color and her focus was on Anakin. "What?" She muttered as she squinted her eyes at him. "We know what you did." His voice was low and emotionless. His words struck fear into her heart. How could they know? She wondered. They weren't even from earth let alone her home. And even then, no one there talked about the incident. But then she blinked and everything was back to normal. Her lightheaded feelings were gone, the pain in her head had subsided, and her vision was restored. "Did you hear me?" Anakin said. "I said are you ready to leave?" He asked again. Kira blinked a few times, trying to clear her mind of what just happened. "I- you- yeah." She finally replied. "Yeah I'm ready."

"Here." Echo said as he handed Kira one of his blasters. "You can't go on a mission without a weapon and you don't have a lightsaber yet so you're going to need this." He added and Kira looked up at him before she slowly reached out and took the blaster he gave her. Every time she held a gun reminded her of something she tried to forget but Echo was right, she needed a weapon for the mission. "Thanks." She said softly and she couldn't help but notice Echo's eyes lingering on her. "What happened to you earlier?" He finally asked. "Hm?" Kira said as she turned to him. "You kinda zoned out... and looked like you were in pain." He clarified. "Oh." Kira said. "I'm not sure, if I'm honest. My vision went kind of... grey and my head got dizzy. But within a second it was gone." "Are you alright?" Echo asked with sudden concern washing over his features. "Yeah." Kira replied as she tried to recall exactly what happened. It was strange and unlike anything she had ever experienced. She assumed it was a Side effect of traveling through space or something similar. "I'm fine." She added with the most reassuring smile she could muster.
