"So let me get this straight," Anakin said as he walked with Obi Wan. It was early in the morning and Kira would be reporting to Anakin any minute with Ahsoka for training with her lightsaber. "The council thinks Kira shouldn't exist? Why?" Obi Wan sighed as he walked with his padawan. "It's difficult to explain." He told him. "When the council examined her through the force we felt something we have not felt in anyone else ever before, not since Mortis at least." "Which was?" "Kira has a strange thinning in the force with her existence. The force runs through every living thing, but around her it thins." "And what does that mean?" Anakin asked with a raised brow. "The force flows through every single dimension, not just ours. There are other realities that exist simultaneously and the force has to be plentiful enough in an individual so that they can exist in each reality. But when it comes to Kira..." "there's only enough of the force in her for her to exist in one dimension." "Correct." Obi wan replied. "There are alternate versions of each of us in alternate dimensions, but Kira only exists here."

"Have you spoken with the council about my visions?" Anakin asked Obi Wan as the conversation drifted away from Kira. "I have." Obi Wan replied. Anakin had been receiving strange visions recently of a voice, the voice of his mother, calling him to a place he had only heard in his visions referred to as "the gateway". The voice would continuously plead with him to "come to the gateway". Anakin didn't know what it meant so he talked to Obi Wan about it. Obi Wan showed great concern about this vision, fearing that it could be the dark side of the force trying to tempt his oldest friend. So he promised Anakin that he would talk to the council about it. And he did. "Yes," he replied, "I did." "And what did they say?" Obi Wan sighed. "They said they would meditate on it in the force, try to find answers. But in the mean time they want you, your padawans, and your men to answer a distress call from a temple on Lothal."

"You learn fast." Anakin said as his saber hit Kira's once more. "It's impressive." "Yeah well I had a pretty okay teacher." Kira replied with a grin. "Yeah he's not to bad, I suppose." Ahsoka added  with a smile. Anakin rolled his eyes at the two. "Enough you Two." He finally told them. "The council wants us to respond to a distress call from the temple on Lothal when your training is over. So get ready to leave soon." He told them. Kira felt for a moment like maybe she should tell Anakin about her dreams and the things that had been puzzling her. He was her master after all and even if she was older by a few months, he did know more about the force then she did. "Master," she called out to him, hesitant to ask him about it just yet. Anakin turned to her. "Yes?" He replied. "I uh... what's Lothal like?" She asked instead of asking him about her dreams. Anakin smiled slightly at her question. "It's on the outer rim." He replied. "Similar to your home planet I suppose."
