Happy Thanksgiving to the people who celebrate it!

Honestly, the only reason I celebrate Thanksgiving is the food, so that's what this chapters focused on.

Anyway, i'm immensely grateful for every single one of you, thank you for sticking by me, i love all of you 💕

You never thought Peter would ever celebrate the mortal holidays, but he was surprising you. He celebrated halloween with the boys and you managed to make halloween candy to give them. You even broke out the face paint for halloween.

You didn't think Peter would celebrate Thanksgiving of all holidays. But he randomly asked you, "What's thanksgiving?"

You sighed, thinking it over. "A holiday where a family, regardless of blood, eats food and talks about grateful they are. Personally my family only ever ate food, watched the parade and football."
"Parade?" He cocked his head like a confused puppy.
"That's a different topic for a different day babe." You pecked his cheek as you got up to put your book that you just finished on the bookshelf.

"What do people eat?" He asked uncrossing his legs so they hung off the bed.
"Turkeys, hams, mashed potatoes, cornbread, apple pies, a plethora of different foods."
"What was your favorite?"
"Turkey or the ham, and mashed potatoes."
"No pie?"
"Darling I'm a picky eater, I hate pie crust. Unless it's cookie crumble crust with chocolate mouse, that I can get behind." Your stomach grumbled at the thought of cookie crumble pie crust with chocolate.
"Hm." He hummed and nodded, crawling back into bed.
"What's hm?" You asked as you crawled in next to him.
"Nothing," he shook his head, the little secretive shit. "I love you." He said pecking your cheek as you settled into his arms.
"Mhm." You hummed back.

Two Weeks Later

You awoke to the smell of apple cinnamon and happy cheers from the boys.

You crawled out of bed, throwing on your clothes and walked down to the ground.

You smiled at the sigh before you: Peter was wearing an apron, setting the turkey and ham on the dinner table, along with mashed potatoes, corn bread, apple pie and what looked to be green bean casserole. You laughed.

He turned, he was all sweaty from cooking but to you, he was glowing like a true king. He kissed your cheek and led you to the head of the table.
"Alright everyone dig in!"
"Wait!" You shouted, everyone froze with forks half way to their mouths.
"Peter sit, we aren't eating without you." You said pointing to the other end of the table.
He smiled and kissed your head, "of course, love."

When he sat down the boys and him looked at you for approval, and you waved your hands.

They dug in like heathens, but they would have full stomachs and be happy, which was all you cared about.

The meal was delicious, you never knew how well Peter could cook, you'd definitely be making him cook more in the future. Maybe if he's up for holiday celebration.

At the end he got up, "where you going?" You asked with a mouth full of juicy turkey.
"A surprise." He said and wondered off, he walked into felix's tent.
He came out holding a chocolate pie with the cookie crumble crust.

You swallowed and laughed, "are you serious?"
"Anything for you." He set it in front of you. He cut into it and got you a piece.

When you tasted it, it was heaven on earth. "Oh my god." Your voice muffled by the creamy chocolate.
"You're gonna bake more." You said pointing your finger at him and everyone laughed.
He gave everyone a slice and they all agreed with your statement.

At the end of the night, everyone was dancing in front of the fire, you were laying down against a log in between Peters legs.
"And you said when I got here you wouldn't become soft for my comfort." You said smiling. It was true, you shocked him with your softness yet hard edges and he said he wouldn't soften up for you.

Boy, was he wrong.

He kissed your temple, "I love you, my Queen."
