Peters POV:

Y/N was hiding something, she was always checking to make sure something was hidden in the trunk at the end of our bed. She thought I never noticed, her always guarding something.

So I did something that a husband should never do.

I looked through the trunk.

I found her usual sketchbook, some pencils even some makeup items along with sunscreen and perfume.

Then there was a box, it was large and was heavy. I opened it to find a wallet, a gun with bullets scattered all over it. The leather jacket she was wearing the day she got here along with the rest of the clothes she was wearing that day. And then a scrapbook.

Then I found something that looked like a wallet. When I opened it, there was a gray, clean cut eagle with its wings spread. It was smooth, something that couldn't be made handmaid. There was a thin plastic card beneath it.

Y/N's picture was there, I've never seen her look so fierce, so proud. She looked like she was staring down death itself. Underneath was her weight, height, birth date and other details.

"Peter, what're you doing?" I heard her was voice say gently, yet firmly behind me.

"I'm sorry," I turned, "I just had to know what you were hiding."

She leaned against the doorframe, her arms crossed and giving me the look she gave in that photo. It scared the hell out of me.

"Why didn't you ask me?" She gave me a look that broke my heart, the 'you didn't trust me look'.

"Would you have told me that it was this?" I raised the wallet in emphasis. I couldn't help the anger in my voice, regardless of what it was, she hid something intentionally.

"You don't even know what that is!" She yelled in frustration.

"Then tell me," I sighed, "please tell me why you hid it from me." I said desperately.

"You'd never believe me, no one ever did, hell not even damn Peter Parker." She shook her head angrily.

"Who?" I asked confused.

She laughed tiredly, "do you really want to know?"

"Yes," I grabbed her hands and pulled her closer to me, "I'm your husband, I want to know."

She sighed, then pulled me the trunk and gestured for me to sit down. I sat next to her as she pulled a book out of the book.

"Shield is-was, was a government organization, it was like the FEDS but more powerful, we worked our asses off." She shook off her anger, "but whatever, that was years ago."

"I got put into Shield when I was fourteen, youngest agent. Shield fell when I was fifteen, but I made a lot of friends during my time as a Shield Agent." She continued, smiling as if she was remembering her friends.

"How'd it fall?" I asked.

She got a dark look in her eyes, "Hydra infiltrated."

"Hydra?"
