Day 90 - 1st Year Teacher’s Survival Kit
Post 3/5
I had to post a picture of me in school, as I am not in school, I changed it. I wanted to open an orphanage somewhere it was needed. I still want to do that, but I also wanted to teach in the orphanage too. So, I put together a survival kit for whenever I started teaching.
Candle: for when I am up late grading papers
Cotton Balls: to cushion the rough road ahead
Crayons: to color my days
Hugs/Kisses: for when I or the children need a hug
Jewels: to remind me that all of my kids are jewels
Pencil: to remind me to list my blessings everyday
Puzzle piece: to remind me that without me things would be incomplete
Latex gloves: for when I need a helping hand
String: to tie things together when everything is falling apart
Tissue: to dry the tears of a wounded child
If you had to make a survival kit, what items would go in and why would you need your survival kit.
Food For Thought
Today is a good day to reconnect with an old friend. Real friends are a rare treasure. Don't let daily buzz obscure what is really important, your relationships with people you care about.
