My name is knox Anderson but the truth is my name doesn't matter, what really matters is that I can be whoever and whatever you want me to be with the right amount... "A girlfriend, partner, fiancee, wife, friend, date, guest, you name it " you want...
"VID360", I have heard a lot about that club... It's very sophisticated and entrance is my membership card. It is mostly patronized by rich folks, seeing as membership doesn't come easy. I have always wanted to go there with my friend Harley but we can't spend that much to be a member... I can't believe I am finally going there I said excitedly.
Well I guess you are in luck, why don't you call your friend to meet us over there he said with a smile. No she can't make it, she's working right now I said with a sad smile. Oh I see, is she in the same line of work with you he asked whilst making a turn. Oh yes she is, I can't keep up with the demands alone that's why we doing it together I said as he made another turn. Cool, anyways she can join us some other time after all we are friends now right he asked expectantly. Yeah of course we are I said happily.
Immediately we got to the front of the club, a valet rushed towards us and collected the car keys saying welcome Sir then we went over to the entrance of the club and the bouncers quickly made way for us without even checking his membership card saying welcome Sir as well.
Every staff we passed kept on saying either welcome Sir or happy birthday Sir or even both. I am so confused, so much so I couldn't help but ask... Are you a regular here cause I noticed the bouncers didn't bother to ask you for your membership card plus all the staff seems to be acquainted with you I asked as he held my hand and led me to the VIP room.
Then it suddenly clicked, is "VID360" yours... As in David, VID for short I asked shyly. Yeah you are right, this and all the other branches are mine he confirmed.
We settled down at the VIP room drinking and gisting before I decided to use the ladies. There was a bit of line so I had to wait for my turn when I suddenly heard my name... I quickly snapped my neck around to the direction I heard my name so I can know who was calling and I came face to face with Harley.
What are you doing here she asked as she approached me with a smile on her face. I'm here with David, can you believe he is the owner of this place I asked cheerfully as I pulled her in for a hug before pulling away. Are you serious, well this is the club Alex brought me to, I never imagined that I was going to bump in to you here. Yeah me too I said excitedly as I pulled her with me into the ladies when it got to my turn.
We finished from the ladies and returned back to our individual partners. The rest of the night went by pretty fast and by the time Harley and I got back home it was 3:45am. We were so tired that we didn't even bother to talk, we both just made a bee line to our various rooms. When I got to my room, I was too tired and lazy to attempt changing or bathing... I just went to bed immediately.
I finally woke up around 11:32am and managed to drag myself out of bed and removed my clothes that reeked of alcohol and cigarettes. Then I went to the bathroom take my bath and try and wash all those stench away. When I was satisfied with how I smell and feel, I came out of the bathroom and wore something comfy and without drying my hair, I left my room and went to the kitchen to fix myself something to eat.
I later decided on taking cereals, seeing as I am feeling too lazy to cook... So I sat on the couch and turned on the TV while I ate my cereals. Sometime around 1pm, Harley joined me at the living room with a small bowl of cereal too. We need to go grocery shopping she said as she sat beside me. Yes but that's if we are able to create time I said.
Around 4pm I started preparing for my dinner date with Ashley and her dad, she's picking me up by 6pm. The earlier I start preparing the better... I put my hair in a ponytail and did my make up consisting of red lipstick, blush, highlights and mascara. Then I put on my short sleeve off shoulder black jumpsuit with a black and white short flare running from the shoulder to the waist as a form of design and I paired it with a simple black heels and a small white chain bag. By the time I was looking at myself in my full length mirror and confirming my appearance it was already 5:50pm so I proceeded to the living room to wait for Ashley.

We arrived at her father's house very fast and I met him at the living room. Good evening Sir, I said with my hands stretched out for a handshake but he didn't take it and with that I realized this dinner will be a difficult one. So I dropped my hand shyly as he kept on starring at me with disapproval before Ashley cleared her throat and lead me to the dinning room seeing as the table was set.
While eating, his gaze was on me the entire time scrutinizing me. The environment was tensed, quite and awkward... What is your name, he finally said something. Linda Sir, I said evenly... And what do you do he asked again. I'm an event planner Sir. How long have you been with my daughter he asked again. 3 months please I answered looking him in the eye.
What exactly is you guys plan, he asked but I don't think the question was directed to me this time. Before I could say anything Ashley beat me to it. I intend to marry her dad with your approval of course she said and I couldn't help but notice how her dad became stiff and rigid and he's eyes bulging out at the mention of marriage.
