"Connor Caisses." Alex spat the words out, bitter on her tongue. "I should've known you weren't much of a trustworthy friend were you?" The big man- Connor laughed. "Says you Alex, going off and leaving me behind! You didn't even tell me! But the past is the past and I'm here on business not pleasure... This time." Alex gritted her teeth. "Why are you here Connor?" He smirked. "Kai doesn't want you alive anymore. Obviously. And the bounty on your head... Even I couldn't refuse that." "How much is the bounty?" She enquired. "Fifty thousand pounds" Connor said. Alex snorted. "I'm worth so much more then that!" Connor laughed. He moved towards her more. Alex could see his extremely handsome face, his jawline, messy jet black hair and icy blue eyes. She gulped. Connor's hand stretched out to her cheek. "I see you've tried using a compound girly." Alex smirked. His other hand went to her hip- pulling her closer. "Admit it Alex you've missed me and my touch." Alex didn't answer. His other hand moved from her cheek down her back meeting his other hand at her hip. Connor gently lowered his mouth to her neck. "Admit it Alex." He whispered. Alex violently shoved him away from her. "Go impale yourself on a spork Connor. If you're going to kill me, hurry up and do it!" She screamed in his face. Connor's face darkened and he reached for the gun at the back of his waistband- which wasn't there. Alex smirked and twirled the gun around her finger. "Missing something Caisses?" Connor growled. He grabbed Alex and violently shoved her against the wall. His forearm lay over her chest and the other arm was on her belly. "You make this so hard you know Alex? One minute I'm ready to kill you and the next all I want to do is kiss you!" His voice lowered into a seductive whisper. "Which one do you want Alex?" Alex looked him square in the eyes. "Kill me." Connor whipped his knife out the same moment Alex kicked him in the groin. Moaning loudly he fell to the ground. "Since when was it fair game to knee a man in his weak spot?!" Connor gasped. "Since when do assassins play fairly Mr Caisses?" Alex retorted. Connor swiped at Alex legs with his knife but Alex easily jumped over it. She kicked the knife away and punched him on the back of the neck- Connor fell to the ground still conscious, but barely. Alex stalked over and sat on his back. Pulling his head back she ejected her knuckleduster knives. "Are you ready to die Connor?" She whispered in his ear a knife to his neck. "Not yet." Connor whipped around grabbing Alex's knife arm. And straddling her to keep her still. Holding both her arms above her head. "Question is Alexandria are you ready to die?" Alex writhed underneath him, but he was to heavy. Connor let go of her arms cautiously and carefully. Alex reached up slowly to his face and ran her fingers along his jawline, over his lips and tangling into his thick hair. Connor's eyes fluttered. "Someone a little distracted huh Caisses?" Alex taunted. Connor growled again- trying to fight her. He evidently failed. Alex wrapped her legs around his waist, Connor dropped all his weight onto her. Squeezing her inner thighs together Alex used all her might to flip Connor over onto his back. "Look Connor I really don't have time for this! You know since I'm wanted as a murderous fugitive and I kinda have a date that I can't miss. You know cute boys and stuff, so I'm really sorry but I must leave you!" Connor now was the one writhing on the ground- not her. Alex smirked at this. "Your not leaving before I either kill you or we continue playing on the floor." Connor grunted trying to get Alex off him. "As tempting as that sounds Connor... I gotta go!" Quick as a flash Alex got up grabbed her guns and ran for the tiny window in her bedroom wall. "Bye babe!" She smashed through the window with her shoulder. The glass stung into her skin, ripping it open. For a moment she flew before gravity took her as its captive again. Alex landed with a thud in an open skip bin. Trying not to think about the smells and squishy things all around her she launched herself out of the bin and took off running down the street. "Alex!" Hudson whizzed around the corner, coffee in hand. "Where the hell where you?!!" Alex whisper screamed at him- still running. "I thought you were busy killing and stuff so I decided to leave you only to do your thing and I went and got a coffee!" Hudson said with a smile. Alex's mouth actually dropped open. "You went and got a coffee?! While I was being attacked?!!" "Well yeah." He shrugged. "You're unbelievable." She murmured. "Quite a few girls say that comment actually." Hudson smirked at her. "What a gentleman you are!" Alex yelled at him, the sarcasm dripping from her words. Hudson pinched his nose. "What the hell is that horrible smell?!" Alex ignored him and kept on walking. "Hurry up Massuline." "Alex why is it everytime we meet your always covered in blood?" Hudson asked innocently. Alex ignored him again, her shoulder stinging from the glass and her cheek and forearm throbbing. Hudson pulled out a small cloth from his bag and ran over to a tap at the side of a house. He twisted the tap and soaked the cloth. Running back over to Alex he sat her down on a nearby bench. "Hudson we haven't got time for this the police and Connor are gonna be after us soon." "Who's Connor?" Hudson asked surprised. "An old friend." Was all Alex said. Hudson shrugged and carefully reached his hand up to Alex's shoulder. He ripped her shirt so he could get at the wound. Alex gasped at the sudden hit of cold and pain. Hudson pulled a few shards of glass from her skin and gently dabbed the cloth on it. Once the blood was gone he ripped the bottom of his shirt off and tied it around the wound. Hudson wrung out the cloth and wet it again. He pulled Alex's arm out so he could wipe the dried blood off and did the same with her cheek. "See? I can be a gentleman." He exclaimed getting up off his knees and flinging the bloody cloth into the tree line. Hudson turned back around extending his hand so he could help Alex up. "Thank you." she whispered. They continued walking. "Alex seriously though... Who is this Connor guy? You know you can trust me." Hudson stopped and turned to face Alex- stopping her in her tracks. "Why does it matter?" She muttered trying to get past him. Hudson grabbed her arm and shoved her back in front of him. Alex's eyes widened not knowing Hudson was that strong. "Tell me Alex. If he's coming after us I deserve to know who he is. Because it's not just you in this team it's three of us. And James made me promise to look after you." Alex's heart stung more then her shoulder at the mention of James. "Connor Caisses. That's his name. We used to be best friends when I first showed up with Zelda Malum. I don't know why he was there, but he was. So he became my best friend. Late last year when I killed Zelda I had to leave really quickly obviously. But I left Connor behind and he's not to happy about this." Alex bit her lip as she finished. "So now he wants to kill you?" Hudson asked. Alex frowned. "Not exactly." Hudson looked confused. "The bounty on my head has risen to fifty thousand pounds Hudson. Even Connor couldn't resist that much money. Even though I reckon I'm worth way more then that... But he still has umm feelings for me let's say." Hudson laughed. "I see you have quite a dilemma sis." Alex smiled. "I don't think James would be to happy with this Connor guy though." Hudson winked at her. "Does he have like Facebook or something? I could ruin his social life with the press of a button!" Hudson exclaimed proudly. Alex laughed. "Assassins having social media... I don't think so!" Hudson's face fell. "Farroute hackers can be really creepy!" Alex whispered. "Aww you love it Alexandria!" Hudson teased back. "Hurry up though we need sleep if we are going to rescue James tomorrow. I'm thinking we go tomorrow night instead of tomorrow morning though..." Alex nodded her head. "Good." Hudson slung his arm over Alex's shoulders. "I've got your back Alexandria Tove." She smiled.
