ELECTRICITY
Stephenie sat on Dustins couch as he tried to contact anyone from his supercom. So far nobody was answering. "Code Red, I repeat I have a code red" dustin said as he cleaned the carpet from where his cats body had laid before Stephenie took it and buried him out back
"Code Red, anybody" Dustin repeated this many times... until Erica Sinclair picked up
"Can you please shut up?" Erica asked
"Erica? Is Lucas their"
"Don't know, don't care"
"Is he with Mike?"
"Like I said, don't know, don't care"
"Well, can tou tell him I said theirs—"
"A code red?"
"Yes exactly"
"I have a code for you. It's called code shut your mouth" Erica said before the line went dead
"Erica? Erica?" Dustin asked and than sighed
"She got you good" Stephenie laughed
After Dustin was done cleaning, they went to go see if Mike was at home. They knocked at the door and Mikes dad answered "your line has been busy for almost 2 hours, mr Wheeler do you realize this?" Dustin asked
"Oh, I do realize."
"Is Mike home?" Stephenie asked
"No"
"No? Where the hell is he?"
"Karen, where our son?"
"Wills!"
"Wills"
"No one picking up their, Nancy. What about Nancy?"
"Karen, where's Nancy?"
"Ally's!"
"Ally's. Our children don't live here anymore. Don't you know that?"
"Seriously?"
"Am i done here?"
"Son of a bitch, you know you really aren't any help" Stephenie turned around and dragged Dustin with her
"Hey, language!"
Stephenie looked up to see Steve's car parked in front of the wheelers and he had flowers
"Steve?" She muttered and started to walk towards him
"What are you doing here?" She asked
"Wait, Steph why are you here?"
"Are those for mr or Mrs Wheeler?" Dustin asked
"No"
"God, Nancy's not home" dustin took the flowers from Steve
"What?"
"Come on, we have more to worry about than your love life"
"Come on" dustin did when he realized Steve wasn't following
"Now?"
"Now!"
They had been driving for a long time while another song played in the car.
'Here we stand or here we fall"
'History won't care at all"
"Wait a sec, how big?" Steve asked
"First it was like this, now it's like this"Dustin said showing with his hands
"I swear to god, it's just some little lizard, okay"
"It's not a lizard Steve" Steph told him
"How do you know"
"How do I know if it's not?"
"Ya how do you know if it's not just a lizard"
"Because it's face opened up and he ate my cat!" Steve fell quiet
'We're just waiting for the hammer to fall' They got out to Dustin's house and got a bat with nails out of the trunk. They got to the hatch in dustins backyard and Steve was looking at it.
"I don't hear shit" Steve said
"He's in there" Dustin said, Steve hit that bat lightly on the door, he waited to hit it again but this time harder
"Alright listen, I swear, if this is some sort of Halloween prank, you're dead"
"It's not" Steph said
"all right?"
"It's not a prank, get that out of my face Steve" Stephenie said covering her eyes
"You gotta key for this thing?" He asked Dustin
Steve opened the hatch
"I'll stay up here, just in case he tries to...escape"
Stephenie grabbed the bat from Steve and went down the stairs slowly, with Steve behind her
She turned on the light and looked down at the bat. Their was a weird flesh looking stuff on it, than she looked to the side and saw a huge hole
"Steve? Stephenie? What's going on?" Dustin asked from the top. Steve took the flashlight from Stephenie and flashed it at him
"Get down here"
Dustin looked at the flesh
"Oh shit"
And then Stephenie pointed the flashlight at the hole
"Oh shit" he said louder
They looked down the hole
"No way
Stephenie, Dustin And Steve walked down the rail road leaving a trial of meat, Steve and Dustin Behind Stephenie.
"So let me get this straight, you kept something you knew was dangerous, in order to impress a girl who you just met?" Steve asked
"Okay that's grossly, over simplifying it" Dustin denied
"I mean what girl would like some nasty slug anyways"
"An inter dimensional slug? Because it's awesome"
"No, it's gross" Stephenie said
"Even if she did find it cool, witch she didn't, I- I don't know I just feel like your trying way to hard"
"Steve cut him some slack, this is his first girl he's really talked too, other than me"
"Well not everyone can have your perfect hair alright"
"It's not about the hair, the thing with girls is to just... just act like you don't care"
"And how did that work for you Steve?" Stephenie said laughing a bit
"Shut Your mouth Steph"
"Even if you do?"
"Ya Exactly, it drives them nuts"
"Then what?"
"Then you wait"
"Wait until what?"
"until you feel it"

"It's like before a storm, you can't see it but you can feel it, it's like this,uh electricity, you know?"
Stephenie didn't understand, couldn't you see the dark clouds before a storm?
"Oh, like in the electromagnetic field, when the clouds in the atmosphere"

"Oh"
"You feel that, then you make your move"
"That's when you kiss her?"

"You know, some girls, they want you to be aggressive. You know, strong, hot and heavy, like a...like a lion, but others you gotta be slow, you gotta be stealthy, like a ninja"
"What type is Nancy?"
"Nancy's different, she's different then the other girls" Stephenie thought of how much pain Nancy caused Steve, and yet, he still loves her.
"Yeah, she seems pretty special"
"Yeah Yeah,she is"
"This girls special too,like"
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, hey, hey, hey."
"What"
"Your not falling in love with this girl are you?"
"Uh, no.no"
"Okay, good. Don't."
"I won't"
"She's only gonna break your heart and your way to young for that shit"
After a bit of quiet Steve suddenly spoke up "fabregè"
"What"
"Huh"
"It's fabregè organics, use the shampoo and conditioner, when your hairs damp, it's not wet, ok when it's damp"
"Damp"
"You do four puffs of Farrah Fawcett spray"
Stephenie had watched Steve do his hair for a while sometimes help him but she never told anyone, because Steve would kill her.
"Farrah Fawcett spray?"
"Yeah, Farrah Fawcett, you tell anyone I just told you that, your ass is grass, your dead Henderson, Do you understand?"
"Ya"
"Okay"
"Farrah Fawcett, really?"
"I mean, she's hot"
"Ya"
When they arrived to the junk yard Steve sighed
"Ya, this will do, this will do just fine" "good call dude"
"I said medium well!" Lucas yelled waving and walking over with Max
"Who's that" Steve asked. Dustin didn't reply but just looked at them
"Hey Max"
"Hey Steph. Since when are your brother and Dustin friends?"
"Since like an hour ago, he was the only one who we could get to."
They were the only ones helping Steve, Dustin and Lucas were talking behind a car, Until Steve spoke up
"Hey dickheads, how come the only ones helping me are Steph and this random girl, we lose light in 40 minutes, let's go. Let's go I said!"
