Cam's POV
Todays the first anniversary since Mason's death and its hard. I've been distracted all day, and gave up on the idea of studying. All I've wanted to do today is get back to my apartment, get changed, and crawl into bed with some food, preferably a chicken salad and some chocolate gelato and then wake up tomorrow morning.
I knew this day was going to be hard but I also know in my heart it's time. Time to start moving forward and stop being sad.
I got home, picking up takeaway on my way, and got changed before getting into bed and having some food. I flicked through the channels as I ate trying to distract myself.
I ended up sitting by the window, looking out over the city as night descended, playing with my ring on the chain around my neck. I slowly reached behind and opened the clasp, taking the necklace off and holding it in my hand.
I looked around the room, and over at the photos I had displayed with Mason, Tash, Ty and I. I got up, the necklace still in my hand and picked up the photos frames, before opening one of my draws and putting the photos in along with my necklace before putting my clothes over top.
