*Juliet POV*

Its treacherous Monday morning and I am standing in the bathroom brushing through my rats nest of hair. My head jerks to the movement of the brush. Right when I am about to set it down on the counter, a knock is sounded at the door. I glance into my bedroom to see the time on the alarm clock to make sure its not one of the guys warning me that I'm going to be late. With at least 15 minutes left until the first bell, I realize that it must be about something else.

I stumble into the baseboard as I round the corner. The pain from the impact shoots up my toe and I let out a few cursed words as I hop on one foot to the door. I open it and find out that my jaw has dropped to the floor.

"That's not something a proper lady should be saying." Logan stands in front of me with a sarcastic-disapproving look on his face. It quickly changes into a joyful laugh as I wrap my arms around him in an embrace.

"When did you get back?" I was so glad to have him back. Who would have ever thought that one plane ride could give you such a close friend, because I surely didn't.

His laugh fills my ears once again as I step away from him. "Just last night, really late." He ruffles my hair, "Are you going to get ready so we can go get a coffee? Or, do I have to go get one alone?" I take his hand and drag him inside before running off to finish getting ready.

I look into the mirror after I finished pulling my hair into a side ponytail. With my red long sleeve shirt, navy capris and old Converse that I just slipped on, I am perfectly ready for another Monday at school. I never care to get dressed up for a school day because I'm not really their to impress anyone. Plus, none of them would even take a second look at a poor girl from Georgia.

As I stepped into the living room, I see Logan looking through the fashion magazine that Rebecca let me borrow. His eyes just scan the pages quickly before he turns the pages. I walk forward to grab my backpack that is resting against the back of the couch and Logan gets up once he spots me.

"You ready?" Logan heads in the direction of the door after I nod my head. We walk through the halls as the regular morning carries on for the other guys. Many of them still struggle to get ready in the morning, with their bed-head hair and their half dressed torsos. I look out of the corner of my eye to spot Logan eying a guy who is hopping on one foot while tying his shoe. I note his well dressed appearance and think if he is gay as well. Though, he may just be a guy with great style. Yet, I secretly wished he was gay just so one of my friends can experience a love life. I sigh as we continue our way to class.

***

Lunch rolls around slower than I have hoped for. Mondays are always the worst of days. Not only is it the ending of the weekend, but I also seem to be even more discombobulated and clumsy than usual. I realized that I forgot my math notebook on my coffee table, I walked to the wrong class for second period, and I am constantly tripping on classroom chairs.

Though, the worst of it all was the constant reminder of Jason and the picture. I don't think I even got through five minutes without hearing someone in class talking about it. A few of my friends even asked me if I knew who the mystery girl maybe. I remember over hearing them guessing that it was probably Rachel in a wig, maybe even a movie star, or a foreign model. Though, all the guesses were wrong, I still feared that one of them would undercover the truth.

As I walk towards my lunch table from the food line, I wasn't paying attention to what was happening around me. The result of that was me tripping over a students backpack and spilling my spaghetti meal all over a blond covered head. I regained my balance just in time to hear a shrieking sound. My eyes widened as I turned and locked on Rachel's spaghetti covered body.

I was completely shocked and afraid to make any sudden movements. I felt like a lone zebra trapped in a lion's reach. With every single person in the cafeteria just waiting to see if I would survive her wrath, my heart was beating in my ears.

Rachel stood up, slowly, from her seat and turned to face me. I could tell that her blood was boiling, and you could probably see steam coming out of her ears if you looked hard enough. She raised a saucy hand and placed it in her noodle filled hair. When she pulled away, spaghetti came flying into my eyes. That's when I heard everyone else gasp.

I now don't feel so bad for accidentally dumping food on her head. My anger is now shining through, "What the heck was that for?" I ask while removing the food from my face.

"That was for two things." She steps closer to me with each reason, "One, for spilling your food on me in the first place. Two, for hanging out with people that you don't ever have a chance with, and by that I mean Jason. And you can't deny it because I saw you two together at the beach party the other day. I even warned you to stay away and you obviously didn't." I was about to say something back to her, though I was interrupted. A hand flew over my mouth and I was being dragged away from the fuming Rachel.

Before I knew it, I was in the courtyard with Abbie and Logan beside me. I raise an eyebrow at them and give a questioning look. Logan notices my curiosity before Abbie does. "You can't just go around and mess with Rachel. She is like the top of the school." He states in a father-like tone.

Abbie gives a slight smile and a roll of the eyes, "He doesn't know about all the occurrences you have been having the past week does he." She was looking at me but gesturing to Logan with a animated hand.

Logan's eyes got wide and I noticed a slight bit of demand in his voice. "What do you mean 'occurrences'?" He shook his head. "Is there something you aren't telling me Juliet?"

I was hesitant about tell Logan the truth. Was it even worth telling? I mean, its my life. Though, he is my friend. He was looking at me questionably as I tried to make a decision within my mind. Even if I was going to regret it later on, I told Logan the basics. I told him everything that was necessary to know and the same amount of information that Abbie and the rest of the girls know. That doesn't include the knowledge that I am the girl that is being shown on the front page of every paper around the world or that Jason is in search for the singer of my song.

I come to the end by finishing off by telling Logan that Rachel was mad that Jason just talked with me at the bonfire, which is partly true. He just stands there while rubbing his hand through his hair the same way I have seen Jason do when he is nervous or in deep thought. Finally he spoke.

"Were you even going to bother and tell me?" Logan seemed a little disappointed and it made me feel guilt.

"Well," I paused, "I didn't think it was really that important."

Logan raised an eyebrow at me. "Important? Do you know Rachel is one of the top dogs around here, and I believe I even warned you about her? She could seriously cause you trouble. Plus, you go hanging out with Jason?" He spit out that name as if it was poison on his tongue. "Don't even get me started on him."

Before I could even reply, Logan stormed off to his next class just in time for the bell to ring. Abbie looked at me as I stared after Logan's retreating figure. She placed an arm on my shoulder and we walked toward our next hallway.

Nothing new in my life. I got into Class Council without signing up because I'm just that awesome... plus I have connections ;) We also have homecoming week/spirit week next week. There are themes for each of the days and we can dress up for them and I plan on doing so. Many people don't want to because they don't want to feel embarassed or what ever their excuse is, but I don't care. Though, I need my Nerds' help with some ideas. Here are the themes:

Drab vs. Fab

Good vs. Evil

Sports Day

Kindergarten vs. Grandparent

Spirit Day (blue and white and black)

All ideas excepted! Please and Thank you!

Can you believe Halloween is coming up already? So it leads up to my question...

Question of the Chapter:

What is favorite costume of your's, or your friend's?

Okay, so I got some serious buisness. I have this friend, Mouse, that I have known since I was 5 years old. We have always been super close, along with another friend, Kat. Well, within the last year she has become really close with some other girl, Ramen (not really her name). She has excluded me and Kat to hang out with Ramen that she has known for less than a year. They have secrets within eachother and are even going on a vacation together on Thanksgiving. I have never been a fan of Ramen even before Mouse was her friend. Though, I don't like Ramen, I don't hate her. I am nice to her and talk to her constantly. We all went to a football game and Ramen was supose to wait with me as I bought something and everyone else went to find seats. Instead, Ramen left me all along and no one answered their phones. I mean I was upset but I found some other friends to hang with until they came back down from the stands. Then later on she did the same thing and dragged Mouse with her. Kat wasn't there that day. Then today Kat was getting pissed at Ramen because she is rubbing in the vacation and bragging about it. Plus, she interupted one of my close buds, Jude, at lunch. Jude and I were talking about it after school. Me, Kat, and Jude were once really close with Mouse, even over the summer. Though, when school started again we havent even got the chance to talk to her. :(

I know it was a long and boring story, but this is like my journal and it was needed to be said. You dont need to read it unless you want to experience a high school friendship distroyed...? I dont know.

I love you my Nerds! Forever and Always!
