I laugh at Brett's joke as I gently entwine our fingers.
"Uh Babe ex alert"
Brett says and I look as I spot Liam, who is looking straight at us. Brett stands behind me and wraps his arms around me from behind and I lean into him.
"Brett!"
He says and I can tell Brett is smirking.
"Treat her right"
Liam says and sticks his hand out for Brett to shake. Brett seems thoroughly surprised by this and takes Liam's hand.
"Thanks man I thought you would of cussed me out"
"I was going to"
Liam admits and looks down at his shoes.
"But I saw how happy Joceyln is with you that I thought against it, I used to make her this happy I just screwed it up. Don't make the same mistake I did. Treasure her"
"Thanks Liam"
I speak up and shake his hand before Brett grips my other one.
"See you around Liam"
I say and he nods.
"Yeah see you. And you Brett"
Brett nods and Liam walks off leaving Brett and I alone.
"Well that went well"
Brett says breaking the silence and I burst into a laughing fit.
"Yeah"
I manage out and Brett starts to laugh along with me.
