I pushed the due date to the end of december.
Yuu's POV.
I can hear stomping on the ground.
Suddenly a wave of hyenas march while I'm looking at a lion with a black mane and a scar over his left eye.
''A shiny new era is tip-toeing nearer.'' the black-maned lion said looking down on the marching hyenas.
''And where do we feature?'' a hyena cunningly asked.
''Just listen what I have to say.'' the black-maned lion answered. ''We're going to kill Mufasa. And Simba, too. Then I will be king!''
The black-maned lion began to laugh evilly, and the hyenas did the same.
''Long live the king!'' the hyenas cheered loudly.
''My teeth and ambition are bared.'' Their leader roared. ''Be Prepared!''
Ramshackle dorm.
'Why didn't they try to talk it out first? What could be the reason that he wants to be the king so badly?'
''Oh, you're up. Ari just finished breakfast and told me to wake you up. Come on!'' Grim jumped down from my bed and left the room.
As soon as we ate breakfast all three of us left Ramshackle Dorm with Rowan seeing us off.
Main Street
We entered the Main Street when Grim suddenly asked. ''Oh, yeah. Did the two of you go somewhere last night? You were gone when I woke up for the bathroom.''
Ari only yawned and didn't seem like she was going to say anything, so I proceeded to explain Grim of last night's occurrence.
''Weeh. A weirdo with horns on his head. And he didn't tell you his name...''
''He told us to call him whatever we wanted.'' I explained to Grim.
''Hmm, then... How about 'Tsunotarou'? ''
''That's good, Grim!''
Alerie's POV.
When I heard Grim's suggestion to a nickname I almost choked on air. ''Hey, hey... He might get mad...''
''Why would he do that? Besides, if Tsunotarou is a student here we'll probably run into him at some point. And don't forget to introduce me.'' Grim said excited to meet the student. ''I've never seen a student with horns!''
''Suit yourself, for some reason I don't really feel good about calling him that nickname...'' I informed, but... ''But it is kind of cute though.''
''Good morning Alerie-chan~ '' a certain boy said behind us.
We turned around and saw Cater along with Riddle.
''Good morning, Cater. Good morning, Riddle.''
Riddle however didn't stop and walked towards Yuu.
''Your tie is a little off. Following the rules starts with your attires. Or else residents will never listen to you... Although, I guess it's not as bad for you being the only one.'' Riddle explained while straightening Yuu's tie.
''Thank you, Riddle.''
''Where's Ace and Deuce? Aren't they with you?'' Grim asked wondering where they were.
''In accordance with the Laws of the Queen of Hearts; Number 249, they are currently feeding flamingos in pink.''
I held my hand over my mouth, so they couldn't hear my chickling.
'I have to get them to take a picture!' I took my phone up and texted them.

''Say, Deuce. Who did you message? You seemed to have a fun conversation with someone?'' Ace asked while feeding the last flamingos.
''Oh, it was just Ari. She wanted to ask me something...'' Deuce answered briefly,
If Ace found out that he took a picture of him in his pink clothes and sent it to Alerie, he would be furious and both of them would have to face Riddle again and possible be 'beheaded'.
The mere thought sent shivers down his spine.
''I see, she also...'' Ace stopped talking.
Deuce looked at Ace whose eyes widened.
''She didn't maybe ask you to take a picture in my pink clothes, right...?''
''What do you me-'' Deuce stopped realizing what Ace was getting at. ''Did she maybe ask you the same...?''
They both took their phones out and looked at the pictures they each sent to Alerie.
''SHE TRICKED US!''
Main Street
Alerie's POV.
I chuckled at both Deuce and Ace as they both sent pictures in their pink clothes.
''What are you laughing at Alerie?'' I flinched at the question Riddle suddenly asked me, making me sweat drop.
''Uhm... I'm sorry... I was in the middle of something that I didn't listen to your conversation...''
''Unbelievable...'' Riddle sighed. ''Anyway, as i was saying, there was another accident last night.''
''According to the portrait, the victim was a second-year student from Scarabia.'' Cater informed us. ''It was Jamil Viper. Apparently, it happened in the kitchen.''
''These portraits are like security cameras...'' I sweat dropped.
''Since it's still breakfast time, they're probably in the cafeteria.'' Riddle informed us. ''Let's check.''
'' You guys go without me. I have some business with the headmaster.'' I chuckled at my plan.
''While you're at it, confront him about my tuna cans!'' Grim exclaimed.
''What exactly are you going to do?'' Yuu asked curious.
''Just confronting him a little and then giving him the silent treatment, I guess.''
Headmaster's office
''Good morning, miss Alerie!''
''...''
''Is something the matter?''
'Now, let the show begin.'
''I suppose I'm not good enough to investigate these incidents, huh?''
''A-Ah... miss Alerie, you see...''
''You were just trying to use Yuu and Grim to do your bidding, huh?''
''U-Uhm, w-well...''
''But tell me... How could you do this to me. You know, I'm hurt... Really hurt... After all I've done for you... sorting through your paperwork. I make tea for us. I pick up lunch for us. And you're ungrateful and that's all I'm saying.''
''...''
''Whatever if you don't want to talk to me about things... I thought you trusted me. Then I suppose that you'll just get the silent treatment. Goodbye.''
I turned around and was about to exit the office, when...
''Miss Alerie! Wait!''
I chuckled a little and turned around to see what the headmaster wanted, straightening my face.
''What can I do for you?! Just tell me and I'll grant your wish whatever it is!'' he desperately offered.
I couldn't help but to laugh at his action, making the headmaster look confused at me.
''Sorry... Hahaha...'' I fake coughed in order to come to my senses. ''I was just kidding a little. Haha.''
''Kidding?! I almost had a heart attack. I thought that you would leave me forever!''
''I never said that I would leave...'' I corrected him. ''And if you really wish to redeem yourself, then don't hesitate to ask me to do a job. And besides it isn't like I always do things myself any longer. Lately I've learned to work with others...''
Now that I think about it, it's true.
Before I would always do things myself, because I didn't have anyone to turn to.
But now it is different.
''I apologize for my behavior. As you say, your mostly keep to yourself when facing a problem, so I'm happy to hear that you have gone past it.'' Crowley said with a genuine smile. ''And I'll keep in mind to ask for your further assistance in cases like this if necessary.''
''Thank you, Crowley.'' I said smiling. ''Would you care for some homemade muffins?''
''Why of course, my dear. I'll make us some tea.''
''Oh, and before I forget it. I have an update on the incidents that have been occurring lately.''
''Very well, but first I have something to give you.'' the headmaster took a tan egg with white spots. ''This is a Fidelis, a breed consisting of different animals. Not only were they used as messengers, but they are also classified as guardians and are extremely loyal to their owners. They can carry immensely heavy loads and they make highly faithful pets.''
''But why me?''
''I have had the egg in many years now. Even when the cub is in its egg, it looks for someone worthy to assist.''
''How am I worthy?''
''That I do not know, but you are devoted and loyal, maybe it's that the egg has reacted upon while in my care. And who am I to disobeyed such lovely creature? I know for a fact that a Fidelis is capable of arriving to the aid of beings who share a similar devotion.''
