Jaemin glanced over at Mark, sighing when he saw that he had started drinking again.
He walked over to Mark, snatching the bottle out of his hands.
"Stop it"
"I'm allowed to cope with things"
"Not with alcohol"
"It's not the nineteen-twenties anymore"
"No, it's not, but think of Myeon. He's doing better than you right now"
"That's because he doesn't understand"
"He knows that he lost his sister, it doesn't just go over his head"
Mark stayed silent, staring blankly at the ground.
Hearing small patters, Jaemin turned his head to see Myeon standing next to him.
"Hey darling, can you go back in your room?"
Myeon shook his head, grabbing Jaemin's hand and leading it to Mark's.
"Don't fight pleathe"
Jaemin rolled his eyes, pulling his hand away.
"Mama"
"What?"
"Hold daddy'th hand"
"No"
"I will thart thcreamin"
Jaemin gave him a look, Myeon giving him an equally stern one.
"Fine" Jaemin took Mark's hand, braiding their fingers.
"Now say thowy"
"Do we have to?" Mark asked, looking at Myeon with a pleading face.
"Yeth"
Mark sighed annoyedly, turning to Jaemin.
"I'm sorry"
"no, you gotta mean it"
"Yeah Mark, you gotta mean it" Jaemin snickered.
"Seriously? You're on his side now?"
"No, I'm on my own side"
"That's not fair, why do you have your own side-"
Mark was cut of by Myeon hitting a pan with a wooden spoon.
"Say thowy. Now."
"Okay, okay. Jaem, I'm sorry, I'm just-"
"Shush. I'm sorry too, I haven't been spending enough time with you"
"Otay, now kith"
"In front of you?"

Mark gave Jaemin a small peck on his lips, making the younger turn his head away.
"Happy now?"
Myeon nodded, jumping up on the couch between his parents.

"Is daddy asleep?"
Myeon nodded, tiptoeing into the kitchen with Jaemin.
"What awe we doin in hewe?"
"We're gonna surprise daddy"
"With what?"
"I don't know yet. But we're gonna make him smile, 'kay?"
"Okie"
"Now, were gonna need a plan"
"What if we make a card?"
"That's a..good idea"
"Otay, I go get da paperth"
Myeon waddled off to go get paper while Jaemin grabbed markers and glitter.
They spent their time drawing cute little hearts and random words on the card, finishing it off with a glitter topped smiley face.
"Okay, go give it to him"
Myeon nodded, grabbing the card and shuffling over to Mark.
"Daddy wake up"
Mark grumbled something before turning away from Myeon.
"DADDY"
Mark jumped up, grabbing Myeon's shoulders
"What's wrong?! Did you hurt yourself?!"
"No, made you a card with mama"
"Oh" Mark rubbed his eyes before taking the card and reading it.
"That was a very nice card, thank you baby" Mark smiled, kissing the top of his head.
Myeon giggled, waddling back into the kitchen.
"Fake smile?"
"Fale thmile"
Jaemin sighed, bringing Myeon into his lap.
"I gueth we need a new plan"
"Mhm"
"I'm bowed though"
"How about we go to the aquarium?"
Myeon nodded excitedly, jumping off of Jaemin's lap and going off to who knows where.
Jaemin giggled at his son's behavior, walking into the livingroom to find Mark sleeping. Again.
"Mark, get up, we're going somewhere"
"No, I'm gonna sleep"
"Mark I swear to god if you don't get up in the next two seconds I'll make Myeon kiss you"
"Please don't, we don't know where he puts his mouth"
Mark groggily stood up, putting his shoes on and dragging himself to the car.
Jaemin put Myeon in his car seat, getting into the driver's side after.
"Mark put your seatbelt on"
"Meh"
"Mark."
Jaemin sighed as he got no response. He reached over Mark and buckled his seatbelt, stealing a kiss along the way.
"Eww"
"Oh be quiet"

"Where are we going anyways?" Mark asked, he was now fully awake as Jaemin and Myeon were singing Taylor swift songs the entire way.
"I think you'll know it pretty soon"
Mark looked confusedly out of the window, not recognizing the building.
"Okay we're here, Myeon don't run off without us" Jaemin unbuckled Myeon's car seat, putting Myeon on the ground where he waited impatiently.
"Mama, come on come on!" Myeon tugged on Jaemin's sleeve.
"Be patient baby, we gotta wait for daddy"
"I'm coming, hold your horses" Mark sleepily trailed behind his family.
"Mark, I'm not gonna wait forever" Jaemin stopped walking, waiting for Mark to catch up.
"Okay, I get it" Mark sighed.
"Hold my hand, I don't want you getting lost"
"I'm not gonna get lost" Mark rolled his eyes.
"Are you sure about that?"
Mark thought a moment before taking Jaemin's hand.
"You too Myeon"
"Okie mama"
The three walked inside, Jaemin leaving Mark with Myeon to get their tickets.
Mark looked around, soon noticing some familiar things about the building.
"Hey, I got the tick- wait, what's wrong?" Jaemin noticed a weird look on Mark's face.
"It's..the aquarium"
"Yeah.." Jaemin looked around at the art that covered the walls.
"What tho special 'bout da aqua-y-um"
Mark picked up Myeon, taking the hat off his head and placing it on Myeon.
"It's where we had our first date"
"And our second date" Jaemin added.
"And we had our first kiss in front of the jelly tank"
"Daddy dats groth"

"We'll see if you say that when you get a girlfriend"

"Mama look! It da fithies" Myeon pointed at a small pink fish that was swimming around with a black fish.
"They're still here" Jaemin pointed out a couple of sharks, two distinct cuts lined up on their fins.
"Yeah.." Mark trailed off, entranced by the rhythmic swimming patterns of the fish.
"Hey- where'd Myeon go?" Jaemin looked around, quickly spotting Myeon who was sitting next to a little boy, pointing out random fish.
"Babe, look"
Mark looked at Myeon, a small smile creeping up on his face.
"Kinda reminds me of us"
"If we were toddlers"
"Yeah" Mark giggled.
Jaemin gasped, quickly hugging Mark.
"What are you hugging me for?"
"You finally laughed"
"I guess I did"
"Hold on let me get-" Jaemin turned around to find Myeon and his little friend standing in front of him.
"Myeon, there you are"
"Sowwy mama, I know I run 'way"
"Don't do it again" Jaemin warned.
"Won't eber do it 'gain, pwomithe"
"Good. Now, who's this?"
"Dis my fwend Tam"
"Okay..and where are Tam's parents?"
"I dunno, dey just left him wif me"
Jaemin sighed and shook his head. "Who even does that?"
"Bad parents"
"Let's take him to the lost and found"
"He's not a hat"
"I don't mean the item lost and found dummy"

Jaemin giggled at his husband's stupidness.
"I'm sorry for calling you dumb" He pecked Mark's cheek.

"Okay, are you ready to go home yet?" Jaemin asked, exhausted from walking around all day.
Myeon shook his head.
"We can't really do anything else, the aquarium's closing in ten minutes"
"Need to get thum'tin"
"What do you need to get"
"Just take me to da gift thop"
"You can go ahead to the car, I'll take him" Mark offered.
"Nah, if you're gonna suffer some more then I should too"
"Baby, just go, I know you're tired"
Jaemin sighed, knowing he wasn't going to get anywhere.
"Okay, call me if you need anything" Jaemin quickly kissed his lips before walking towards the exit.
"Okay bub, what are we getting?"
"I wan' get pwushie for Kimi when thee cometh back"
"That's very sweet of you, how about we pick out a little gift for Mama too?"
"Okie" Myeon ran around the gift shop, trying to pick out a plushie for Kimi and something for Jaemin.
A few minutes later, Myeon had chosen a jellyfish plush and some saltwater taffy.
"Are you done?"
"No, I gotta get one fow you too"
"Alright, but hurry up"
"No peeking!"
Myeon picked up a cute little sea cucumber squishy, quickly handing it over to the cashier with his other items.
"Hey little mister, this stuff will be fifteen- twenty seven, do you have money with you?"
"Yeah, hol' on" Myeon turned around "Daddy!" The people who were in the store turned to face Myeon, making him a bit embarrassed.
Mark showed up beside him "Are you done now?" Myeon nodded.
"How much do I owe you?" Mark asked the cashier.
"Fifteen-twenty seven"
Mark handed her his credit card.
"You have such a cute little boy, can I ask your name?" The cashier asked, placing Myeon's items in a bag.
"Mark Lee"
"Cute name. Is there a Mrs. Lee?"
"Mister, actually. Eight years in a week or two"
"Oh. Congratulations then" The cashier said disappointedly
"Thank you" Mark turned to Myeon "Let's go" Myeon nodded, skipping out of the store happily.
Mark looked around the parking lot, unsure of where Jaemin went.
He quickly dialed Jaemin's number.
"Hey babe?"
"What's up?"
"Where'd you park the car again?"
"Hold on, I'm getting dinner right now"
"Did we take that long?"
"No, I was just hungry"
"Really"
"I'll come pick you up"
...
"So, what did you get from the shop?" Jaemin set the bag of food on the counter.
"I got Kimi a pwushie for when thee cometh back, and i got you and daddy pwesenth"
"Can I see the present you got daddy?"
Myeon nodded, handing him the sea cucumber.
"Oh"
"Oh? Why oh? Ith it not good?"
"No it's great, he's gonna love it. How about we go prank him?"
"Okie"

The two waited out in the hallway, hoping to hear some kind of reaction.
They soon heard girlish screams come out of the bedroom. Mark quickly rushed out, slamming the door behind him.
"Have you guys seen what's in our bed?"
Jaemin snickered, high fiving Myeon.
"Don't worry, I got chu a pwethent too mama"
"Can I have it?"
"Aftew dinnew"
"You bought candy?"
"Yeth, but chu hafta share wif me"
