Mark wandered the halls, being bored out of his mind.
He sighed loudly, not caring if he would wake up his boyfriend or not.
Heading to the kitchen, Mark scrounged around, looking for something to snack on.
Settling on some slightly stale twizzlers, he walked back to the livingroom, turning on the TV to whatever channel was playing previously.
Maybe he had put the volume a little too loud, because soon enough, he heard his boyfriend stomping through the halls.
"Mark, what did I say about my sleep schedule?" Lucas growled.
Mark rolled his eyes, going back to watching whatever cartoon was playing.
Mark flinched as he felt a sting on his cheek.
"Don't ignore me" Lucas grabbed Mark's arm, yanking him to the floor.
"Why were you being so loud when you know I have a big meeting today?" Lucas glared down at Mark, making the shorter shrink into his hoodie.
"Answer me!" Lucas slapped Mark again, small whimpers coming out of Mark as he held his cheek.
"I-i didn't mean to be so loud.."
"Bullshit!" Lucas boomed, Mark started inching away from him.
"I'm going to work" He stormed out of the door, slamming it behind him.
Mark stared at the ground, pulling his hood over his head and scrunching it around his face. He began to quietly sob, curling up into a small ball, wanting to be forgotten for just one day.
But of course, life couldn't let that happen. Mark's phone began buzzing with dozens of texts from his best friend.

Mark hesitantly crawled to the door, opening it to find Donghyuck with two boxes. One was just a regular cardboard box, while the other had some round holes in the top of it.
Donghyuck looked down at Mark, facial expression dropping as soon as he saw his state.
"Oh my lord, what did he do to you?" Hyuck crouched down to Mark's level, examining the bruises on his cheek.
"It wasn't that bad this time" Mark mumbled.
"It'll only keep getting worse"
"I know.."
"Then why aren't you doing anything about it?"
"Because..I love him"
"Seriously? After all he's done to you?"
"Love doesn't just..go away" Mark countered, crossing his arms.
"Let's argue about this later, I don't think she's gonna survive much longer if we keep her in the box"
"Her?"
Hyuck nodded picking up Mark and placing him down on the couch before going back and picking up the boxes.
"I brought you some stuff" Donghyuck said, placing the boxes on the coffee table.
"I c-" Mark paused, hearing small mews from the box with the holes.
Hyuck opened the box, letting the cat slip out quietly, exploring her surroundings.
"You brought me a cat?"
"And cake and stuff" Hyuck opened the other box, revealing a decadent looking chocolate cake and multiple bags of candies.
Hyuck sat down on the couch next to Mark, letting Mark rest his head on his chest.
"I know you wanna slip, go ahead and do it"
Mark shook his head, he didn't want to be another burden.
"It'll help, I promise"
Mark shook his head once more.
"Fine I didn't want to have to do this, but you leave me no choice" Hyuck grabbed a lollipop from one of the bags and stuck it in Mark's mouth.
"Why-" Mark gasped at the flavour coating his tounge. "How dare you use my weakness against me"
"Not my fault you told me your weakness"
Mark angrily rolled the lollipop around in his mouth, slowly becoming content with the comforting flavour.
"Are you done yet?"
"Yes huckie"
"Good, you haven't been slipping a lot and it worries me"
"Sowwy huckie"
"You have nothing to be sorry for bub" Hyuck patted his head, giving him another lollipop.
"Otay"
The pair spent most of their time watching The Grim adventures of Billy and Mandy, Hyuck feeding Mark way too many sweets while the cat just chilled on Mark's chest.
A loud slam made Mark jump, clutching onto Hyuck's shirt while he tried to calm down. Donghyuck looked at the door, finding Lucas glaring at them.
"He's little isn't he?"
"What would it matter to you?"
Lucas scowled, leaving the house once again.
"Who was dat huckie?"
"A very, very, bad person"
"Are dey gon' huwt mawka?"
"No, I'll protect you"
"Tanks huckie"
"No problem babe"

Mark sat patiently, waiting for a knock on the door from the mysterious person that Hyuck had sent his way.
He immediately got bored and started playing with Beef, don't ask me why he named the cat Beef.
He had almost completely forgotten about his mystery guest, until he heard a rap on the door.
Mark waddled over to the door, a little too excitedly if you ask me, and opened it, staring confusedly at the boy in front of him.
"Hey, Mark right?" The boy held out his hand.
"Ye- hol' on" Mark took his pacifier out of his mouth before continuing "Yesh"
He shook Yuta's hand "Woah, youwe hands awe weal bigs"
"I guess they are"
