Chapter 42

As much as I hate to admit it I really loved getting dressed up in a pretty dress and looking at least a little decent even if it was jut for one night I actually felt might I dare say pretty

But that all ended when the dress got ruined and my locket got stolen

I turned off the engine to Lilly's car and looked at the big house in front of me really hoping that Cameron is not home and all I had to do is give Kayden back the dress and shoes grab my phone and head off on my way

I stepped out of the car with the dress and shoes in hand heading up the drive way but stopped short when I noticed that the door was half cracked and two people were yelling inside

"Cammie you can't be serious" A girl yelled "You are letting this whatever walk all over you"

This would be the part where I leave right not really wanting to ease drop on anyone conversation

"Oh and I suppose Kylie also lied about you taking her necklace" Cameron asked calm

I stopped when I heard my name and walked back over towards the door "I told you already I didn't take it I found it on the stairs before I went outside" Molly said

"Molly please just go" Cameron said sounding done with the conversation but Molly wasn't "I know you think you like her-"

"Molly" Cameron warned cutting her off but she continued "But there is a bunch of stuff you don't know about her and trust me she is lying about a lot"

"Molly you don't know anything about Kylie and her situations" Cameron argued back his voice traced with irritation

Wait what exactly did Molly's 'friends' actually dig up on me I mean I figured she knows about my aunt and uncles death but she couldn't have gotten any deeper right

I could see them through the crack of the door and I continued to listen

"Cam you need to stop seeing her I know you think you can trust her but she lies" Molly walked over to Cameron and grabbed his hands "plus things wouldn't stay that permitted with you and her Cammie you are just not that type of guy and she doesn't really know you that well"

"Nothing is going on between Kylie and I" Cameron looked at Molly like he admired her "Molly I like you I always have-"

"Kylie" some behind me asked touching my shoulder which caused me to job and quickly turn around "Kayden hey I was just looking for you" I said with a smile moving away from the door

"Really" he asked looking at the house "well I am here so"

I handed him the dress and shoes "I was just dropping these off and then heading straight to work"

Kayden took the dress and shoes from me and looked me up and down "in your PJ's" he asked with a smirk and I looked down at my short and black shirt

"I got to go" I gave him one last smile and speed walked to Lilly's car "Thanks again" I yelled not bothering to turn around and hopping into the car

I drove out of the driveway and headed straight for the dinner hoping that Kayden wasn't watching me but if he was I didn't want to be caught in a lie

I texted Lilly to bring Sawyer in with her when she came to work so I could see her and also I was sorry about stealing her car

I took a bite of my sandwich and looked at Jackie who was staring back at me "What" I asked
