Chapter 10

What is your problem" Lilly asked as I pulled her into her room

After we closed up for the day Lilly drove us all back home and the car ride was silent other than the radio that was turned down low

I have been planning the right time to hurt- I mean to ask her about last night

"I can't believe you didn't tell me" I yelled

"what do you mean" she asked playing with her finger

"you know exactly what I mean" I said louder

"Ok shh" she placed a hand over my mouth

I mumbled into her hand "I didn't understand any of that" she said slowing moving the hand away

"You slept with Kayden" I said as a smile crept on to my face

"Don't remind me" she said "that bad" I asked sitting down on the floor

"I don't even know I mean Kayden was being his annoying self and bothering me the whole party and we both had one too many drinks and then before I knew it I woke up in his bed" she flopped down on her bed and let out a scream

"Are you sure you and him" I asked and Lilly glared at me "yea"

"I thought you liked him" I asked walking over to where she was sitting "No I was just flirting before at the bar, you know how I get when I'm drunk"

She sat up "I don't even think he remembers it was me, I left before he woke up"

I shrugged "call him and find out" I said standing up

"I can't just call him" she said flopping back down

"Why not" I asked confused

"Kylie" She muffled through her pillow "You can't just call someone the day after"

I rolled my eyes and patted her back "it's better then over thinking it" I said standing up

"Kylie" Tegan yelled from the living room

"What" I asked once I made it to the kitchen "something's here for you"

I walked into the living very confused "what is it"

Tegan handed me a white box with a blue ribbon tied to it. I opened it and handed it back to her "It's not mine"

She looked at the new phone and handed it back "It said your name on the packaging"

I walked back to the kitchen and placed it on the counter "I didn't order a new phone I haven't had time to get anything let alone a new IPhone"

Tegan picked it off the counter and placed it in my hand "just take it"

"Teg- "

"Can't you just accept it I mean you try to do something nice for someone" she said grumpily walkin gover to the living room

I followed her "you bought me a new phone" I asked very confused how could she even afford this

"sort of, your phone is still missing and we have looked everywhere and even tried the find my phone app but nothing so I thought why not just get a new one you needed it anyways"

Aww "Thanks Teg" I wrapped her up in a hug "but I really can't accept this"

"why not" she asked offended

"this is a lot of money" I said looking at it but she just shrugged

"it's a gift please take it"
