Until I Met You

Chapter 35

"Ok is anyone going to talk" Tegan asked unbuckling her seat belt and leaning between the two front seats I looked up from my phone and looked at her

Tegan looked at Cameron but he just kept looking out the window "Guys come on we have been compact in a car for 21 hours and neither of you have barley even spoken unless it was little things like where to eat and whose turn it was to drive"

I placed my phone in my lap "Come on that can't be completely true"

Tegan nod her head and poked Cameron's arm "Can we please stop at the nearest gas station I need to pee"

The light turned green and Cameron looked at her "If you can sit back and put your seat belt back on I will"

She sat back and buckled but did it hard so we could hear it click "Done and since when did you start being bossy"

Cameron ignored her and we headed for the next gas station

The car went back to being quiet so I took the time to get back on my phone and re read the email I got from Principal Carth

She had just sent over the papers I needed to fill out for the teaching job and what the plan would be when I was there but to be honest I still haven't decided if I was going to take it and with everything that happened when I was home only for a weekend I didn't know if I wanted to go back

I couldn't tell you how long it took us to get to the gas station or how long we have been there heck I haven't even notice the car stopped moving till someone touched my shoulder and I jumped

"Kylie"

I looked over at Cameron and he had that look on his face you know the one that I could never tell what he was thinking or feeling

"Yes" I asked turning off my phone and placing it in my lap

"I just wanted to make sure you were ok you look" He stopped a thought for a sec "well its a mixture of confuse and stress"

"Yea everything is ok I was just texting" I said coming up with a sort of lie

"Spencer" he asked and this time I was confused for whole other reason "No not Spencer why would you assume that" I asked

Cameron shook his head "no reason just saying the first name that popped into my head"

"Well why not Jason or Katie you know my sister"

Cameron shrugged his shoulder "I don't know it was the first name"

I narrowed my eyes at him and he just sat there not looking at me anymore "Cameron" I asked "are you lying"

He turned to look at me and raised his eyebrows "lying about what" he asked and that was when I saw it the little eyebrow twitch that happens when ever Zach is mentioned

"Why don't you like Spencer"

"I never said I didn't" he defend and I chuckled "No but your eyebrow did" I reached over and pointed at it

"No it didn't" he smacked my hand away and rubbed his eyebrow "I never said I didn't like Spencer and I am not jealous"  he argued again and I started to smile

"What" he asked

"I never said you were jealous" I said poking his arm "Why would you Cameron Davis be jealous of Spencer Miller" I teased

Cameron looked at me and was about to say something but Tegan was heading out and towards the car

"What did I miss" she asked climbing back in with a bag in her hands
